Pokemon Sun And Moon Ultra Legends Disney Xd

Okay, let's be real for a sec. Remember when Pokemon Sun and Moon Ultra Legends was ALL. OVER. Disney XD?
It felt like it was on every five minutes. I'm not complaining... too much.
Alola! My Not-So-Secret Obsession
I might have a slight problem. A problem involving a certain sunny region and pocket monsters.
Must Read
I’m talking, of course, about Alola! Specifically, watching Ash Ketchum stumble (endearingly) through it all on Disney XD.
Anyone else find themselves glued to the screen, even during the reruns? Don't lie!
Unpopular Opinion Time!
Here's where things get controversial. Are you ready for my shocking revelation?
I think Pokemon Sun and Moon Ultra Legends is seriously underrated.
Now, before you throw your Pokeballs at me, hear me out!

Yes, Ash's art style changed. Yes, it was a little more "kid-friendly" than previous seasons.
But did that make it bad? Absolutely not!
The Good, The Bad, and The Rowlet
Look, let's talk about Rowlet. That adorable, sleepy owl was reason enough to watch.
Seriously, every time Rowlet fell asleep in Ash's backpack, my heart melted a little.
The Z-Moves were also super cool. Who didn't yell along with Ash when he used them?

I'm just saying, the Alola region had its charm. The characters were fun and vibrant.
Even Team Rocket got a little bit of a glow-up, right?
Disney XD: Our Pokemon Dealer
Disney XD deserves some credit. They really pushed Pokemon Sun and Moon Ultra Legends.
It was on constantly! It felt like Disney XD was determined to make us all fall in love with Alola.
And honestly, they kind of succeeded.
A Few Minor Gripes
Okay, okay, I admit it. There were a few things that bugged me.

Sometimes the animation felt a little… too bouncy. Like everyone was made of rubber.
And maybe, just maybe, the school setting got a little repetitive after a while.
Still, the good outweighed the bad, in my opinion.
The Real MVP: The Alola Vibe
What really made Pokemon Sun and Moon Ultra Legends special was the vibe.
It was so chill and relaxing! No intense gym battles every episode, just sunshine and good times.

It felt like a vacation from the usual Pokemon formula. A much-needed vacation!
So, Am I Wrong?
Maybe I'm alone in my love for Pokemon Sun and Moon Ultra Legends on Disney XD.
Maybe everyone else hated it. But I highly doubt it.
But I think it's a fun, charming, and underrated season. And I'm not afraid to say it!
If you haven't given it a chance, or haven't seen it in a while, maybe give it a rewatch. You might be surprised!
And maybe, just maybe, you'll join me in my not-so-secret Alola obsession.
