Remember Erin Brockovich? Of Course You Do!

That movie was HUGE. Julia Roberts slayed. But let's talk about someone else.

I'm talking about George. Erin's biker boyfriend. The one played by Aaron Eckhart.

Okay, unpopular opinion time. I'm just gonna say it. I don't get the George hype.

Everyone acts like he was this perfect, supportive dream boyfriend. Was he though?

Seriously, I need to see some real pictures of the real George. Did he actually exist as perfectly as the movie portrayed him?

Finding pictures of the actual George is harder than finding a decent parking spot on Black Friday. It's like he's a myth!

Did he even want to be found? Was he hiding from something? Maybe a motorcycle gang?

Or maybe he was just a regular guy who didn't crave the spotlight. Respectable, I guess.

Okay, back to my gripe. I think George got off easy. He wasn't that helpful.

Sure, he watched the kids. He looked ruggedly handsome doing it. But come on!

Erin was out there fighting corporate greed. He mostly just...looked good on a motorcycle.

I know, I know. I'm being harsh. Maybe. But hear me out.

He did leave her in the end, right? Claiming he couldn't handle the chaos? That's not exactly "ride or die" material.

Maybe the real George looked nothing like Aaron Eckhart. Maybe he was an accountant with a minivan. We will never know.

Look, I'm not saying George was a bad guy. I'm just saying he wasn't a saint.

He was a normal dude. In a movie filled with larger-than-life characters.

And maybe, just maybe, we need to stop idealizing the "supportive boyfriend" trope when the woman is doing all the heavy lifting.

I still want to see pictures of the real George. It's pure curiosity at this point.

Was he as dreamy as Hollywood made him out to be? Or was he just a regular dude who happened to date a badass woman?

Someone out there has to know! Spill the beans!

So, George. He's a mystery wrapped in a leather jacket. And maybe, just maybe, a little overrated.

Don't get me wrong, I liked him. But Perfect? Nah.

Let's just appreciate Erin for being the real hero, with or without a picture-perfect biker boyfriend.
