Ouji No Honmei Wa Akuyaku Reijou Episode 1

Okay, Let's Talk About That Villainess in Episode 1
So, I watched the first episode of Ouji No Honmei Wa Akuyaku Reijou. And... I have thoughts. Maybe some slightly controversial thoughts.
Did anyone else immediately like the so-called villainess, Liselotte Riefenstahl, way more than the "pure" heroine? I'm just saying, she has some serious sass.
Seriously, She's Hilarious
Liselotte's inner monologue is gold. Like, solid, comedy gold. The voice acting is totally on point.
Must Read
Every single time she's scheming something dastardly (or trying to), it's just pure entertainment. Who doesn't love a good "evil" laugh that’s secretly a panicked internal scream?
I'm not saying I condone villainy, obviously. But let's be real: being "good" is boring sometimes. Especially in anime.
The Prince is...Interesting
Prince Siegwald is... well, he's a prince. Blonde hair, blue eyes, the whole shebang.

He seems nice enough, I guess. But does he have the same chaotic energy as Liselotte? I'm going with a hard "no."
I’m already rooting for Liselotte to wrap him around her little finger. And maybe accidentally stumble into being a decent person along the way. Stranger things have happened!
The Commentary Crew: MVP's?
Okay, can we talk about Endou and Kobayashi? These two make the show so much funnier.

Their commentary is like having two of your best friends roasting the characters on screen with you. I appreciate their insights, even if they are just playing a game.
I’m secretly hoping they’ll accidentally mess things up for the prince. You know, for maximum comedic effect. Chaos is good!
Unpopular Opinion: I Love Her Fashion
Maybe it’s just me, but Liselotte’s outfits are pretty great. Dark colors, fancy accessories... she rocks it.

The "good" girl's clothes are nice, sure. But they’re just...predictable. Give me a villainess in a killer dress any day.
I'm already planning my Liselotte-inspired cosplay. Don’t judge me!
Overall Verdict: Hooked!
After just one episode, I'm already invested. This show knows exactly what it is, and it leans into it perfectly.

I'm excited to see how Liselotte's "villainous" plans unfold. And how much chaos Endou and Kobayashi can cause from the sidelines.
Am I the only one hoping she accidentally becomes the best ruler of the kingdom? Someone needs to manage the budget wisely, after all.
Seriously though, I'm ready for more. More schemes, more commentary, and definitely more Liselotte being unintentionally hilarious. Consider me a fan.
Anyone else agree? Or am I completely alone in my villainess appreciation? Let me know!
