Then, BOOM! Straight into the dark, depressing world of a post-arena Katniss in Mockingjay – Part 1. The emotional whiplash is...artistic, almost.

Think about it. We see her traumatized, struggling, a shell of her former self. We're left wondering HOW she got like this!

Then, BAM! Catching Fire. We get the flashback, the explanation. The breadcrumbs leading to her current state. It's a backstory reveal on steroids!

Why This Might Actually Work (Maybe)

It creates suspense! Mystery! Think of it like a really long, drawn-out origin story. But backwards-ish.

Catching Fire, while amazing, is kind of predictable if you're following the "official" order. You know what's going to happen.

But if you're coming off the emotional wreckage of Mockingjay – Part 1? Seeing Peeta get hijacked? Seeing Katniss become "the Mockingjay"? It hits different. It lands different.
