Only Murders In The Building Season 2 Killer

Okay, let's talk Only Murders In The Building Season 2. We all binged it, right? We all shouted theories at our TVs? Good.
But, I have a confession. I have a killer (pun intended!) unpopular opinion about the killer.
Poisoned, But Not Forgotten
Everyone was obsessed with Poppy. Like, seriously obsessed. Was she sus? Absolutely! Did she seem like she’d scream into a voice recorder for fun? One hundred percent.
Must Read
But... I still think it's a little too obvious. Maybe that's just me?
A Secret Affair... Or Not?
Let's not forget Alice. The quirky artist with a mysterious past. And a questionable relationship with Mabel!
I thought she was being too cool, too quick. Plus, her art seemed... aggressive. Is it just me or art is a good way to hide the evil side?
And those trust issues! Red flag, people. Huge red flag!

My Wild, Completely Unsubstantiated Theory
Hear me out, though. Prepare yourself. It might sting.
It was Uma Heller. Yep, I said it.
I know, I know! Everyone loves Uma. She's hilarious. But she's also shady.
Think About It
She's always around. Conveniently nosy. Always popping up when she shouldn't. Doesn't that seem weird?
She knows everything that's going on in the building. Everything. And she's got a serious motivation.

I felt like she was a bit too pushy when selling the painting. And the way she talks about Bunny? A little... intense.
The Motive, My Friends, The Motive!
Bunny was trying to kick her out! Think about it. High stakes!
Uma needed the apartment. Maybe she was in debt. Maybe she had a secret family of pygmy goats she needed to house.
The point is, she had a strong reason to want Bunny gone.

Maybe I'm Wrong, But...
Look, I could be totally off base. I’m just some random person yelling into the internet void. I understand.
But wouldn't it be a fun twist? Imagine the chaos! The outrage! The think pieces!
It would be the ultimate "nobody saw it coming" moment.
Consider This
Uma is underestimated. She’s seen as harmless, quirky. Perfect cover!
She could easily have manipulated events. She knows the building like the back of her hand. She’s a master of disguise (remember that wig!).

And she's got that dry wit. Perfect for delivering a killer (sorry, again!) one-liner before making her escape.
So, there you have it. My completely bonkers theory. I still think it could have been Uma. The seemingly innocent neighbor with a dark secret.
Sue me. Or better yet, write your own crazy theory. It’s more fun that way.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to rewatch Season 2 and look for even more "clues" that totally prove my point. Wish me luck!
Who do YOU think was the killer? Let me know in the comments!
