Only Murders In The Building Episode 4 Cast

Okay, let's talk about Only Murders In The Building. Episode 4. Specifically, the cast. Were we all equally thrilled?
The Core Three: Still Golden
Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez? Undeniably brilliant. They're the avocado toast of this show; basic but satisfying.
Their chemistry is still on point. Charles' quirky awkwardness, Oliver's flamboyant desperation, and Mabel's deadpan delivery? Chef's kiss!
Must Read
No complaints here. They're the foundation. They're the reason we keep tuning in.
Poppy White: My Unpopular Opinion
Here's where things get spicy. I know a lot of people find her annoying. But I kind of love Poppy White (Adina Verson)!
She's got that unsettling "I might snap at any moment" vibe. Plus, the way she hangs onto Cinda Canning? Hilarious and a little sad.

Maybe it's the actress, maybe it's the writing. But Poppy adds a weird, unpredictable layer to the podcast world.
Cinda Canning: The Ice Queen
Speaking of podcasting royalty, let's talk about Cinda Canning (Tina Fey). Cold. Calculating. Comedic gold.
She's the podcasting villain we didn't know we needed. The perfect foil to our Arconia trio.
Tina Fey just nails the smugness. You love to hate her, and that's the point.

The Supporting Cast: Hit or Miss?
Okay, the other characters flit in and out. They add flavor, but sometimes they fade into the background.
Detective Williams (Da'Vine Joy Randolph) is always welcome. Her no-nonsense attitude grounds the show.
But some of the newer faces? I'm still trying to figure out who's important and who's just wallpaper.
A Moment for Howard
We need to acknowledge Howard Morris (Michael Cyril Creighton). Always a scene stealer.

He's the Arconia's resident oddball. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
His interactions are so funny. I would like to see more Howard's storyline.
Episode 4 MVP?
It's tough to choose! The main three are always great. Cinda is a perfect antagonist.
But I'm going to give it to Poppy. She's the character I find myself thinking about.

Plus, I have a feeling she's hiding something big. I can't quite figure it out but will be there for the reveal.
Final Thoughts
The cast of Only Murders In The Building, Episode 4? Mostly excellent. A few diamonds, a few rough patches.
The show is a great ensemble. But some characters are clearly shining brighter.
What do you think? Are you on team Poppy, or do you find her as irritating as Oliver would find a faulty microphone?
