Only Fools And Horses Season 7 Episode 10

Alright, listen up you plonkers! Let's talk Only Fools and Horses.
Specifically, Series 7, Episode 10, better known as "Three Men, a Woman, and a Baby".
An Unpopular Opinion, Perhaps?
Now, this is where I might lose some of you. Ready for it?
Must Read
I think this episode is… overrated. There, I said it!
Before You Shout at the Screen
Hold your horses! I'm not saying it's bad. It's Only Fools and Horses, for crying out loud.
But is it top-tier? For me, not quite. Sorry, not sorry.
Let's face it, the baby storyline is cute, but a bit predictable.
Del Boy, being all caring and responsible? We've seen it before.

Remember when he "looked after" Rodney's marriage?
The Usual Suspects, the Usual Antics
The episode centres around Del, Rodney, and Grandad finding an abandoned baby. Classic Trotter family chaos ensues, right?
They try to care for the little tyke, inevitably messing things up in hilarious ways.
Rodney's attempts at being a responsible adult are always gold. Bless him.
Grandad, well, he's just Grandad. Need I say more?
And Del Boy? Always scheming, even when faced with a baby. A true entrepreneur!

But compared to other episodes, does this one truly shine?
Where's the Real Laughs?
Don't get me wrong, there are funny moments. The nappy changing scene? Classic.
Del trying to flog baby formula? Hilarious, but standard Del stuff.
But something feels… missing. That extra spark, that unforgettable moment.
Think "The Jolly Boys' Outing," or "Miami Twice." Now those are classics!
They have iconic moments, lines we still quote today. I am not sure this episode has that.

Compared to Other Gems...
Consider "Dinner and Disaster," where Rodney's disastrous meal with Cassandra's boss is comedy gold.
Or "Time on Our Hands," with the famous antique clock discovery.
Even "Fatal Extraction" with the dodgy dentist is more memorable.
Those episodes had a unique brilliance and a surprise element. Something that "Three Men, a Woman, and a Baby" arguably lacks.
Maybe I am being too harsh, but let's be honest. The plot follows a pretty familiar formula.
The Verdict
Look, it's still Only Fools and Horses. It's enjoyable, comforting, and funny enough.

But for me, it doesn't reach the dizzying heights of other episodes. Some episodes set the bar really, really high.
It's a good episode, but not a great episode. There. Double-downed. Sue me!
So, what do you think? Am I a total numpty, or do you secretly agree?
Sound off in the comments. Just be nice about it! (Or at least try to be.)
After all, we're all just trying to make a few bob, innit?
Lovely jubbly!
