Plus, the acting is surprisingly good! Especially considering how absurd the situations are. Director James is a genius.
It's a breath of fresh (albeit slightly illegal) air. It allows you to watch from a safe distance while thinking “I would never do that.”
I get it if this show isn't for everyone. Some people find it too silly. Others are just morally opposed to fictional crime. I respect that.
However, for those of us who need a bit of absurdity in their true crime, One Year In A Life Of Crime Streaming is pretty fantastic. Just saying.
