One Punch Man Season 2 Episode 12

Okay, let's talk One-Punch Man Season 2 Episode 12. Specifically, let's talk about what everyone apparently loved. Or pretended to love? I'm not sure.
The Grand Finale? More Like a Grand... Meh.
Look, I'm not saying it was bad. Just... underwhelming. We waited SO long for season two. Then, boom, it ended like a polite cough, not a heroic punch.
Remember all the hype? All the build-up? It felt like a firework that fizzled out instead of exploding into a shower of sparkles. It feels kind of sad, isn't it?
Must Read
Garou's Glorified Hide-and-Seek
Everyone loves Garou, right? The tortured anti-hero. The "Human Monster." I get it. He's cool. But his arc in this episode felt... incomplete.
He spends half the time getting his butt kicked. Then the other half, well, running away! Where is the Monster King?!
His fight scenes are still pretty cool, I'll give you that. But cool fight scenes don't equal a satisfying ending. Just saying.

Saitama: The Reluctant Babysitter
And what about Saitama? Our bald-headed hero of pure boredom. He's there. He punches stuff. But... where's the impact?
He felt more like a glorified babysitter this episode. Chasing after Garou and making sure he doesn't, like, accidentally destroy the city.
I know, I know, that's kind of his thing. But I miss the days when his punches had earth-shattering consequences. The dramatic ones!

King: The Ultimate Bluff Master
Okay, gotta give props to King. He's the real MVP of this whole thing. Seriously! The man doesn't have any power, but his reputation carries him through.
The way he unintentionally intimidates everyone is hilarious. He's the king of accidental intimidation!
He is literally me in a social gathering. Absolutely awkward but faking it til I make it!

Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Here it comes. My super controversial, potentially friendship-ending opinion: Season 2 wasn't One-Punch Man level awesome.
The animation was...different. The pacing was wonky. The overall impact just wasn't there. I just don't like the season.
I know, I know! Blasphemy! But I'm just being honest. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't the face-melting, earth-shattering awesomeness we all expected.

Maybe I'm just too harsh. Maybe I'm expecting too much. But hey, that's what being a fan is all about, right?
What do you think? Am I completely wrong? Or did One-Punch Man Season 2 Episode 12 leave you feeling a little... empty too?
Let the debates begin!
