On Becoming A God In Central Florida Episodes

Okay, let's talk On Becoming A God In Central Florida. I binged it. You probably did too. And I have THOUGHTS. Some might call them controversial. Buckle up.
Episode 1: "Near-Life Experience" - More Like Near-Death Experience (For My Patience!)
Kirsten Dunst is amazing, obviously. No argument there. But that first episode? Whew. It throws you RIGHT into the deep end of FAM and its cult-like fervor.
And honestly, I found it a bit...much. Like, I got it, tragic circumstances, desperate measures. But the relentless positivity felt almost TOO relentless. Anyone else feel that way?

Episodes 2-4: Getting Hooked...Finally!
Okay, okay, I admit it. Once Krystal Stubbs starts scheming, the show really takes off. Forget selling water! This girl's selling dreams...or, well, pyramid schemes.
I loved seeing her navigate the crazy world of FAM. From Tupperware parties to...well, much darker stuff. Suddenly, I was invested. Maybe too invested.

Cody, her first mentor, is just hilarious, he is an idiot but so funny.
Episodes 5-7: The Gray Widows and the Downward Spiral
Those Gray Widows? Creepy and fascinating! The show starts to get really dark here, and that's where it shines.
Krystal's ambition becomes a bit scary, too. You start to wonder if she's any better than the people she's trying to take down. Is she becoming the very thing she hates?

Also, can we talk about the fashion? The 80s are back, baby, but in the most deliciously tacky way possible.
Episodes 8-10: Did It Stick the Landing? (My Unpopular Opinion)
Here's where I might lose some of you. I wasn't 100% thrilled with the ending. It felt a little rushed. Like they crammed too much into the final episodes.

Don't get me wrong, there were some great moments. But I wanted MORE. More resolution. More EXPLOSIONS!
I wanted to see the whole FAM crumble down in flames! Maybe that's just me being bloodthirsty. Also, no season 2. I was really disappointed.
Overall Verdict: Worth the Hype?
Despite my minor complaints, On Becoming A God In Central Florida is definitely worth watching. The performances are incredible.

The story is unique. And it's a darkly comedic look at the American dream (or nightmare, depending on how you look at it).
Just be prepared for some awkwardness in the first episode. Push through! You won't regret it (probably). And you'll be quoting "Systems are for suckers" for weeks.
"Systems are for suckers" - Krystal Stubbs (probably saying it in her sleep)
So, tell me, am I alone in my thoughts? Or did anyone else feel slightly underwhelmed by the finale? Let's discuss! (Please be gentle.)
