Okay, let's talk NEO: The World Ends With You. Great game, right? But some character opinions... well, let's just say mine might be a little spicy.

Rindo: He's Fine, Just... Fine.

Everyone loves Rindo. He's the leader! He's got the brooding anime protagonist thing going on. But honestly? He's kind of... vanilla.

Don't get me wrong, he's not bad. He just doesn't pop like some of the others. Maybe it's the perpetually unimpressed face.

I need a little chaos in my leading man, and Rindo brings the zen. Which is cool, just not my cup of virtual tea.

Fret: Underrated Sunshine.

Now, Fret! That's a character I can get behind. He's energetic. He's a little ditzy. He's a social media king!

Some people find him annoying. I find him adorable! He’s like a golden retriever in human form. A golden retriever with a phone and a surprisingly sharp mind when he needs it.

His psych is all about reading people's minds via their thoughts. Super cool and fun!

Nagi: The (Surprisingly) Relatable Gamer.

Nagi is the queen of all things cute and intense. Some might find her a bit much. I find her utterly captivating.

Her love for the Steel Angel idol group? Relatable. Her dedication to her friends? Commendable. Her battling prowess? Fearsome.

Plus, her whole "I'm too cool for school, but secretly a huge nerd" vibe? That's me in a nutshell. We stan a queen!

Sho Minamimoto: Still a Math Whiz, Still Annoying.

Okay, okay, I know. Sho's a fan favorite. Zetta cool, right?

I appreciate the math puns. I really do. But after two games, his schtick is wearing a little thin. Sorry, not sorry!

He’s a fantastic character for the story, and an absolute powerhouse in battle, but I find him hard to love.

Shoka: She Grew On Me.

Initially, Shoka gave me the "mean girl" vibes. The aloof attitude. The sarcastic comments. Ugh.

But as the game progressed, I started to see another side to her. A vulnerable side. A side that actually cared.

Her character arc is really great! She's not afraid to be open about who she is and what she wants. Plus, she's got style for days!

Beat: The Brooding Big Brother... Still.

Beat's back! And he's still brooding! Look, I get it. He’s been through a lot. But lighten up, dude!

He’s a classic tsundere. Harsh on the outside, softie on the inside. But I feel like we’ve seen this before.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's around. Just wish he’d crack a smile once in a while!
