Naruto Six Paths Sage Mode In Boruto

Okay, let's talk about something potentially controversial. It involves whisker marks, orange jumpsuits, and glowing eyes. Yep, it's Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode in Boruto. Or, more accurately, the lack thereof.
Where Did It Go?!
Remember how Naruto ended? Naruto Uzumaki was basically a god. He had all the powers. He even went toe-to-toe with Sasuke, who also had some serious upgrades.
Then Boruto happened. And suddenly, Naruto seems…nerfed? It’s like he left half his power-ups at home. Did he forget to charge his chakra batteries or something?

Now, I know what some of you are thinking. "He's older! He's got responsibilities! He's the Hokage!" Excuses, excuses!
The Hokage's Day Off (From Being OP)
Being the Hokage is hard. Mountains of paperwork, village meetings, constantly dealing with unruly ninja kids... sounds rough. But is it really an excuse to ditch the Six Paths Sage Mode?

I mean, come on! He’s faced interdimensional threats! He's stared down gods! Paperwork shouldn't be scarier than Kaguya!
I get that the writers probably wanted to give Boruto and the new generation a chance to shine. Totally understandable. But couldn't they have come up with a better explanation than "He's just...tired?"
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves)
Here it is: I think they deliberately weakened Naruto. I'll say it louder for the people in the back: THEY. WEAKENED. NARUTO.

Okay, I know, I know. It sounds like I'm wearing a tinfoil hat. But hear me out. If Naruto was running around at full power, the stakes in Boruto would be… nonexistent.
Who cares about new villains when the previous protagonist could sneeze them out of existence? Where’s the drama when the super dad can solve all the problem?
A Power Down By Any Other Name...
Maybe they didn't technically weaken him. Maybe he just... doesn't use it as much. “He needs to conserve chakra!”, someone shouts from the back.

Sure, buddy. Conserve chakra for what? More paperwork? I'm pretty sure Six Paths Sage Mode also grants super-efficient filing skills.
It feels like they’re deliberately keeping him from going all out. The convenient thing is to say he doesn't want to rely on it and want the future generation to take responsibility.
It's All About the Story, Right?
Ultimately, I understand why they did it. A story where the old heroes are still the strongest is rarely a good one. It steals the thunder from the new kids.

And maybe, just maybe, I'm secretly okay with it. A power system reset helps the story of Boruto.
But a part of me will always miss the days when Naruto was an unstoppable force. A part of me wants him to pull out the Truth-Seeking Balls just one more time.
So, what do you think? Am I crazy? Or are you secretly missing god-tier Naruto too?
