My Life As An Internet Novel Manga

Okay, picture this: you know those super dramatic internet novels and manga where the main character's life is just a wild rollercoaster? That's basically my life, except way less cool and with significantly more awkward moments.
Seriously! Think about it. Every morning, I wake up and it's like the beginning of a new chapter. Will I encounter my tsundere boss? Will the coffee machine explode again, showering me in lukewarm caffeinated sadness?
The "Ordinary" Protagonist
See, I'm the "ordinary" protagonist. The one who’s supposed to be relatable. Except, sometimes, I'm too relatable.
Must Read
Like when I trip over absolutely nothing in the middle of a perfectly smooth sidewalk. Instant shoujo manga moment! You know, the classic "clumsy protagonist falls into the arms of a handsome stranger"?
Except, in my case, the handsome stranger is usually just a bewildered pigeon.
Rival? More Like Mild Annoyance
And of course, every good internet novel needs a rival! Mine? The office vending machine.

It consistently steals my money and refuses to dispense my favorite chocolate bar. The betrayal is real!
This vending machine is seriously on the same level as Dio Brando, with the kind of evil genius plot to make my life difficult on daily basis.
My Harem (of Cats)
Now, every harem manga protagonist has their loyal followers, right? Mine are a bit furrier.

I have a small army of neighborhood cats who greet me every evening. They follow me home and they stare at me expectantly.
I swear, they're planning something. Maybe they think I'm secretly a powerful wizard who can summon unlimited tuna.
Dramatic Cliffhangers (Sort Of)
The dramatic cliffhangers? Those are usually just me trying to figure out if I have enough milk for my morning cereal.
The fate of the world might not hang in the balance, but my breakfast definitely does.

Last week I even encountered my nemesis during my journey to find milk at 2 AM. It was a cockroach.
The Power of Friendship (and Caffeine)
But, like any good shonen manga, I have the power of friendship on my side! My friends are the best.
They listen to my ridiculous stories, offer sage advice (usually involving copious amounts of caffeine), and generally keep me from completely losing it.

They're basically my support system, the equivalent of a super-powered team ready to face any challenge, even if that challenge is just getting through a particularly boring meeting.
And you know what? Even with the awkward moments, the pigeon encounters, and the vending machine vendetta, I wouldn't trade my internet novel life for anything.
It's messy, it's chaotic, and it's utterly hilarious. After all, isn't that what makes a good story? Stay tuned for the next chapter – it's bound to be a wild ride!
Think of me as a main character of slice-of-life manga, like Tanaka from Tanaka-kun is Always Listless or Houtarou Oreki from Hyouka.
