My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission Suits

Okay, let's talk about the real stars of My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. And no, I'm not talking about Deku punching things. I'm talking about the SUITS.
Specifically, those stealth suits. You know, the ones that made everyone gasp and reach for their wallets?
Suits, Suits Everywhere!
Look, I love a good superhero costume as much as the next person. But sometimes, I feel like people overreact just a tiny bit. Are these suits really that amazing?
Must Read
Don't get me wrong, they're sleek. They're cool. They scream "tactical espionage" louder than a James Bond movie marathon.
But are they better than their original hero costumes? Hmm… that's where things get a little spicy. Prepare yourself for my unpopular opinion.
Deku's Stealth Suit: A Tad... Bland?
Let's start with Deku. His green suit? Iconic. Immediately recognizable. You see that, you know it’s Deku about to smash something.

The stealth suit, though? It’s…black. Mostly black, with some green accents. It’s practical, sure. But where's the personality?
It looks like something you'd pick up at a clearance sale at SuperHero Outfitters. Functional, but not exactly memorable.
Bakugo's Stealth Suit: Did He Raid a SWAT Team?
Bakugo's suit? Now, that's a different story. He looks like he borrowed gear from a very angry SWAT team member.
All the grenades and that intimidating mask. It definitely suits his explosive personality. I will give it that. But that's just it.

Is it an upgrade from his original costume? I'm not convinced. It’s definitely cool, but it lacks the signature Bakugo flair.
Shoto's Stealth Suit: Finally Some Style!
Okay, okay, I'll admit it. Shoto's suit is pretty darn good. The asymmetry works. The color scheme is slick.
It’s the best of the three, hands down. Maybe because it's the least "stealthy" looking? Or maybe because Shoto just looks good in everything.

Regardless, Shoto's suit saved the whole stealth suit concept for me. Barely.
The Verdict: Overhyped or Underrated?
So, are the World Heroes' Mission suits overhyped? I think a little bit. They're cool alternatives, but they don't replace the originals in my heart.
They serve a purpose, they look good in action, and they give us something new to obsess over for a few weeks. I get it.
But let's be real. Would I trade Deku's iconic green suit for the stealth version? Absolutely not! The original costumes, they have history.

Maybe that is what those suits are lack of. The history of the hero.
So, next time you're rewatching the movie, take a closer look. Admire the craftsmanship. Appreciate the tactical design.
But don't forget the charm and personality of the original costumes. Because sometimes, the classics are classic for a reason.
What do you think? Am I completely off base? Let me know! (But be nice, I'm sensitive.) 😉
