My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission Digital

Okay, let's talk My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission. Digital release, baby! It’s everywhere, which is great. But also… is it just me, or is it a tad overrated?
The Hype Train: Is It Running Wild?
Don't get me wrong. I love My Hero Academia. I really do. But the online love for this movie feels a little… much.
The Action is Good... But Is It Enough?
The fight scenes are undeniably cool. Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto kicking butt? Yes, please! But explosions and fancy quirks don't automatically equal a masterpiece.
Must Read
I need more than just pretty visuals. A compelling story matters, people! And honestly, I think the plot was kinda thin.
It’s like ordering a really fancy cake. It looks amazing, but the flavor is… just okay. A little disappointing, right?

The World-Saving Mission: A Little... Generic?
The whole world being in danger? Been there, seen that. It's a superhero trope as old as time itself. I'm not saying it's bad, but it’s not groundbreaking.
And the whole "Humarize" group? Their motivations felt a bit… vague. I didn't really understand what their endgame was, beyond causing chaos.
Villains need more depth, people! Give me a tragic backstory, a compelling ideology. Something to make me care!

Character Development... Where Are You?
Did anyone really grow in this movie? I feel like Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto stayed pretty much the same. They're great characters, but I didn't see any significant change.
Even Rody Soul, who was supposed to be the new character we connect with, felt a bit underdeveloped. We saw glimpses of his past, but it wasn't enough to make a lasting impact.
I wanted more emotional depth! Give me the feels, MHA! Make me cry!

The Unpopular Opinion Corner
Okay, here comes the controversial part. I think some of the MHA movies are better. Yes, I said it! I stand by my opinion.
Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm being too harsh. But I felt like World Heroes' Mission relied too heavily on spectacle. It forgot about the heart and soul that makes My Hero Academia so special.
And don't even get me started on the pacing. It felt rushed in some parts, and draggy in others. A little uneven, if you ask me.

“With great power comes great responsibility.” – Wait, wrong franchise. But the sentiment applies!
Basically, great animation and action, mediocre story. 6/10. Would recommend if you're already a huge fan. If not, maybe start with the series first?
Don’t get mad at me! It's just my opinion. Let me know if you agree... or completely disagree!
