My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission After Credits

Okay, Let's Talk World Heroes' Mission After Credits Scene
Confession time: I might be the only one who feels this way. But did the My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission after-credits scene leave you wanting...more? Like, a whole lot more?
Don't get me wrong! The movie itself was a blast. So many cool fight scenes. So many opportunities for Deku to shine.
And let's not forget Bakugo being, well, Bakugo. Perfectly explosive as always!

The Calm Before... More Calm?
But after all that high-octane action, the after-credits scene felt...anticlimactic. It was basically everyone chilling. Recuperating.
Which, logically, makes sense. They literally saved the world! Sleep is probably a good idea.
Still, my inner shonen fan wanted a bigger hook. Some kind of tease for what's next. Something to chew on while waiting for the next season.

Where's the Beef? I Mean, Villain?
Think about it. Classic after-credits scenes often give us a glimpse of the next villain. A mysterious figure lurking in the shadows. A cryptic message hinting at future danger.
World Heroes' Mission gave us...nothing. Just heroes being heroes, but in a relaxed, "we survived" kind of way. I appreciate the sentiment. I do.
Maybe I've been spoiled by Marvel movies. But a little cliffhanger wouldn't have hurt, right?
Rody Soul: Where Are You Now?
Okay, fine. Maybe a villain tease was too much to ask. But what about Rody Soul? The adorable, bird-loving, reformed thief?

His friendship with Deku was a highlight of the movie. A quick shot of him starting his new life. That would have been heartwarming.
Showing him using his newfound freedom to help others. That would have really driven home the movie's themes of heroism and redemption. Missed opportunity!
Tiny Details, Big Impact
Even something small could have made a difference. A news report mentioning a new threat on the horizon. A recovered vial of the trigger serum.

Anything to suggest the story wasn't quite over. Instead, we got...peace and quiet.
Again, I get it. The heroes earned their rest. But my entertainment-hungry brain craved just a little bit more.
Am I Alone in This?
So, am I the only one who felt a bit let down by the after-credits scene? Is it just me?
Maybe everyone else was perfectly content with the quiet ending. Maybe they appreciated the lack of forced drama.

But I can't help but feel like a golden opportunity was missed. A chance to leave fans buzzing with excitement.
Still Love the Movie, Though!
Look, I'm not saying the movie was bad because of the after-credits scene. Far from it! World Heroes' Mission is a fun, action-packed addition to the My Hero Academia universe.
I just think the ending could have been...spicier. A little more oomph to send us off with a bang.
Perhaps I'm just greedy for more My Hero Academia content. And honestly, who can blame me?
