My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 24 Dubbed

Okay, let's talk about My Hero Academia. Specifically, Season 5 Episode 24. Dubbed, of course. Because subtitles require too much reading after a long day, am I right?
My Unpopular Opinion: It's Good...But
Don't get me wrong, I love MHA. Deku's determination? All Might's booming laugh? Chefs kiss! But...Season 5. Hmmm.
Episode 24 in particular? It felt... transitional. Like we were just setting up for something bigger. Which, to be fair, we were.
Must Read
The Joint Training Arc: A Bit of a Snooze?
Let's be honest. The Joint Training Arc? Not my favorite. It felt a little long. And the battles? Sometimes a bit...meh.
Did we really need that much focus on Shinso? I mean, he's cool and all. But compared to Bakugo exploding things? I know which I'd rather watch.
Sorry, Shinso fans! No hate! Just… priorities.

Dubbed Delight (or Distraction?)
Now, the dubbed version. The voice actors do a fantastic job. Seriously. They bring so much energy to the characters.
But sometimes, I find myself focusing more on the delivery than the actual plot. Is that just me? Maybe I’m easily distracted.
Hearing Bakugo scream "SHINEEE!" in English is... a unique experience. It's definitely more impactful than reading it.
The Plot Thickens (Slowly)
Episode 24 definitely started to ramp things up. We're getting hints of bigger threats. Looming darkness. All that good stuff.

But the pacing felt a little off. Like they were trying to cram too much information into one episode. Anyone else feel that way?
I needed a flowchart to keep track of everything. Or maybe just more coffee.
Where's the Action?!
Look, I get it. Character development is important. World-building is crucial.

But sometimes, I just want to see some epic hero battles. Is that too much to ask? Give me Deku smashing things! Give me Todoroki's ice and fire!
Less talking, more fighting! Please?
Overhaul's Impact Lingers
Remember Overhaul? Man, that arc was intense. It felt like a true turning point for the series.
Season 5, especially in the lead up to the 24th episode, felt like it was still recovering from that. The stakes just didn't feel as high.

Maybe it's because Overhaul was just so good. He set the bar pretty high.
Final Thoughts: Still Hyped (But Patiently)
Okay, despite my little rant, I'm still a huge MHA fan. Season 5 Episode 24 Dubbed might not be my absolute favorite, but it’s still part of the journey.
I trust Kohei Horikoshi to deliver. The future of My Hero Academia looks bright. Even if it takes a few slower episodes to get there.
And hey, at least we got to hear more of our favorite voice actors. That's always a win in my book!
