Mushoku Tensei Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Part 2

Alright, let's talk about Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Part 2, specifically. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a certain… something?
Okay, okay, before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out! I’m not saying it’s bad. Just…different.
The "Growth" Spurt
Rudeus is growing up. We know this. He's not that snot-nosed brat anymore.
Must Read
But sometimes, it feels like he’s growing too fast. Like, where’s the awkward teenage phase where he trips over his own feet and blushes at girls? Or does that count as the first season?
Maybe it's my expectations. Maybe I wanted more of that classic isekai clumsiness.
The Power Creep, Oh My!
Let's be real, Rudeus is becoming a powerhouse. He's always been talented.
But the power creep in Part 2? It's getting intense! He’s practically throwing around spells like they're candy.

I get it, he's gotta be strong to face the challenges ahead. Still, a part of me misses the days when he struggled to conjure a basic water ball.
"But He's Protecting His Family!"
Yes, yes, I know. Rudeus is doing it all for his family. The feels are real.
But even the noblest intentions can feel a little…convenient, right? A perfect excuse for doing whatever he wants?
I am on his side, but still I can be critical!

The Waifus...Always The Waifus
Mushoku Tensei has a lot of female characters. Many of them, um, gravitate towards Rudeus.
I know it's part of the genre. But sometimes I wish the female characters had more agency. More going on outside of their relationships with Rudeus.
This is just my opinion, and I know it might be controversial!
That One Character
Alright, let's address the elephant in the room: Sylphy.

She is great, beautiful, powerful, and the sweetest woman in the anime. But her personality seems more like something Rudeus wants, than her own character.
Again, this is just my feeling! Don't hate me.
Still Watching, Though!
Despite my little gripes, I’m still hooked. I am still on the Rudeus train.
The world-building is amazing. The action scenes are top-notch. And deep down, I care about these characters, flaws and all.

So, yeah, I’m still watching Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Part 2. Just with a slightly more critical eye. Who's with me?
Maybe this is just me. Maybe I am being overly critical. But hey, that’s what makes discussions fun, right?
Ultimately, I just want the best for Mushoku Tensei. I want to see these characters grow. And I want a satisfying conclusion to their story. Even if Rudeus becomes an all-powerful god who solves every problem with a flick of his wrist.
Or, well, maybe not that. But close enough!
