Everyone loves Suletta Mercury! She's shy, sweet, and pilots a giant robot. What's not to like?

Well, hear me out. Sometimes, I wanted her to... step it up a bit. I mean, space tomato needed a little spice.

Don't get me wrong, her awkward charm is endearing. But a little more assertive Suletta could have been awesome.

The School Setting: Not Just For Kids

A Gundam show in a school? It sounded weird at first. But The Witch From Mercury actually made it work!

Giant robots and student council drama? Who knew they'd go so well together?

But... (another unpopular opinion alert!)... did anyone else think the school stuff sometimes dragged? Felt a bit too "slice of life" when we wanted giant robot battles!

Miorine: The Real MVP?

Okay, let's be real. Miorine Rembran is a boss.

She’s sharp, ambitious, and doesn't take any nonsense. Plus, she manages to put up with Suletta's… quirks.

Gundam Fights: Where's the BOOM?

Now, for a Gundam show, The Witch From Mercury had... fewer massive explosions than I expected. I missed the classic Gundam fights a bit.

The battles were cool. The Permet score system was visually awesome. But I wanted more "PEW PEW!"

Maybe I'm just old school. Maybe I just like things that go BOOM!

I think it was... fine? It wasn't the best ending ever, but it wasn't terrible either.

Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe I wanted more The Witch From Mercury.
