Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil Characters

Savannah. Think moss-draped trees and scandalous secrets. We're diving headfirst into the quirky characters of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Time to spill some tea. Some opinions might be a little...unpopular.
The Usual Suspects (and My Hot Takes)
Jim Williams: More Like Jim "Maybe I Did, Maybe I Didn't" Williams
Okay, Jim Williams is supposed to be this sophisticated antique dealer. But let's be real. He’s also shady. Like, really shady.
Must Read
Did he kill Danny Hansford? The jury's out, but my inner detective says...probably.
Danny Hansford: The Chaotic Spark
Ah, Danny. The young, unpredictable hustler. He definitely stirred the pot.
Honestly, I think he was more annoying than charming. Sorry, not sorry.
John Kelso: The Outsider Looking In
John Kelso, the writer, is our guide through this bizarre world. He's basically us, the audience, wide-eyed and confused.

He's alright, I guess. A little bland, though. Needs more Savannah spice.
The Eccentric Ensemble
Lady Chablis: The Queen of Sass
Now, Lady Chablis! That's a star. The Supreme Lady Chablis, if you will.
She steals every scene she's in. Seriously, she should have her own movie.
Minerva: The Root Doctor
Minerva, the voodoo practitioner, adds a mystical layer. She's the real deal, folks.

I'm a little skeptical about the voodoo stuff. But hey, who am I to judge?
Judge Samuel L. White: The Sleepy Arbiter
Poor Judge White! Seemed like he was half-asleep during the whole trial. And that is understandable.
Was he actually paying attention? Someone get that man a coffee, stat!
Minor Characters, Major Impact
Even the smaller roles are memorable. They’re like little pieces of Savannah's soul.

The guy with the poison? Terrifying. The walking dog statue guy? Bizarrely endearing.
The Question of Good and Evil
The title asks a big question. But is anyone truly "good" or "evil" in this story?
I think everyone's a little bit of both. Just with varying degrees of eccentricity.
Maybe that's what makes Savannah so fascinating. Its residents are an odd mix of personalities and charm.

It is hard to say who is worse than another. They have very deep problems.
So, there you have it. My slightly controversial takes on the characters of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. What do you think?
Were you team Jim or team Danny? More importantly, did you find Lady Chablis as fabulous as I did?
