Masterchef Junior Season 5 Where Are They Now

Remember MasterChef Junior Season 5? Those tiny chefs blew our minds! It feels like forever ago. Let's see what they're up to now!
The Big Winners & Beyond
Crowned Champion: Justise Mayers
Justise snagged the trophy! Last we heard, he was still cooking up a storm. He's probably perfected even MORE amazing dishes. My unpopular opinion? He deserved that win!
The Sweetheart: Cydney Sherman
Ah, Cydney. Such a ray of sunshine. I bet she's baking happiness into every cake. She’s likely inspiring tons of young bakers.
Must Read
The Charmer: Sam Stoll
Sam had charisma for days. Seriously, where does a kid learn to be so charming? I hope he opened a food truck named “Stoll’s Rolls”.
Fan Favorites: Still Cooking?
The Pasta Pro: আওনা রহমান
Avani was a pasta QUEEN. Seriously, I’d pay good money for her ravioli. I bet she's still twirling spaghetti like a pro.

The Confident Cook: Shaylin Smith
Shaylin brought the confidence. She wasn't afraid to experiment. That's a fantastic quality, no matter what you do.
The Underdog: Mark Canny
Mark had such a great journey. He showed us all that hard work pays off. Maybe he's secretly a food critic now!

Whatever Happened To...?
The Creative One: Brielle Bennett
Brielle always thought outside the box. Her creative plating was impressive. I bet she’s an artist of some kind now, even if not in the kitchen!
The Precise Palate: Daniel Domínguez
Daniel seemed to know every flavor profile. He was super analytical. He's probably acing chemistry class now, understanding everything.

The Energetic: Sydney Verrastro
Sydney brought so much energy to the kitchen. Her enthusiasm was infectious. I hope she found something to put all that energy in!
Unpopular Opinions and Final Thoughts
Okay, here’s my hot take. Season 5 was the best season! The kids were just so talented and genuine. Don't @ me!

It's amazing to see what these young chefs accomplished. They inspired a whole generation of kids to get into the kitchen. And that's something to celebrate.
Whether they're still cooking professionally or pursuing other passions, we wish them all the best. They'll always be MasterChef Junior legends in our eyes. I want a reunion episode. Immediately.
"Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." - Julia Child (and maybe some of these kids, too!)
