Oh, Neil and Sam. Their relationship was like a rollercoaster that mostly went uphill…slowly. He started out as the "friend-zoned" husband, but Neil actually made a 180!

Get this, they actually did decide to stay married on Decision Day! But, plot twist! They divorced less than a year later. Cue the sad trombone.

Neil seems to be living his best life, travelling, and is still a techie! Sam is now a nurse and seems super happy with her own crew of friends. So, hey, they found happiness, just not together!

David Norton and Ashley Doherty

David and Ashley? This one was rough from the start. Ashley was pretty upfront that she wasn't feeling the initial spark. Ouch!

Remember David’s cringy attempts to win her over? Poor guy. But things went south when Ashley found out David was texting other women behind her back!

Unsurprisingly, they called it quits on Decision Day. Ashley has since found love, got married (to someone she chose!), and is living her happily ever after! David has kept a relatively low profile but seems to be doing well.

Tres Russell and Vanessa Nelson

Alright, time for the couple that gave us a glimmer of hope! Tres and Vanessa, they had undeniable chemistry. Sparks flew!

They decided to stay together on Decision Day! Everyone cheered! But... another sad trombone moment. They divorced shortly after.

It turns out that their issues were just too difficult to overcome. Vanessa went on to appear on Married At First Sight: Second Chances. As of my last update, Vanessa has had a baby and Tres seems to be thriving in his career!

The show certainly provides entertainment, but it also reminds us that relationships are hard work, even without the cameras and the "experts." Finding true love often involves navigating tough times and discovering what you truly need in a partner.
