These two! They’re the poster children for arranged marriage success. They’re still married, have a couple of kids, and are super active on social media. I suspect they’ll be renewing their vows on Mars someday, broadcast live, of course.

Honestly, good for them! But does anyone else find their oversharing just a tad exhausting? Maybe it's just me.

Cortney Hendrix & Jason Carrion: A Sweet, Short Story

Okay, these two were cute. They seemed genuinely invested in making it work. But alas, it wasn't meant to be.

They divorced after five years. Jason, sadly, passed away a few years later. Cortney remarried and seems happy. Wishing her all the best.

Sometimes, nice people just aren’t a good match, even if you marry them at first sight. Unpopular opinion: They were almost too normal for reality TV.

Monet Bell & Vaughn Copeland: The Train Wreck We Couldn't Look Away From

Oh boy. Monet and Vaughn. Remember the awkwardness? The arguments over, well, everything?

It was clear from week one that this wasn't going to work. They divorced, and honestly, both seemed relieved. You know, sometimes you just know.

Unpopular opinion: They probably shouldn't have cast them at all. The chemistry was…negative.

Where Are They Now? Digging a Little Deeper

So, what are they up to now, besides the basics?

Jamie continues to be a mom influencer, sharing her life (all of it) with the world.

I wonder if her kids will have to sign NDAs when they turn 18. Just a thought.

Doug seems to be fully embracing the dad life. He’s also involved in Jamie’s various projects.

He’s definitely learned the art of the Instagram husband. Impressive dedication.

Cortney has found love again. She seems very happy, and that’s what matters most.

It’s always nice to see people find their person, even if it's not on a reality show.

Monet appears to be living her best life, traveling and focusing on her career.

Good for her for moving on! Maybe she's found someone offline.

Vaughn keeps a lower profile. He appears to be focusing on his personal life.

Sometimes, staying out of the spotlight is the best revenge (or, you know, just the best decision).

The Verdict?

Season 1 was a mixed bag. One major success story, one amicable split, and one dumpster fire. It set the stage for the chaos to come.

Married At First Sight has certainly evolved since then. More drama, more heartbreak, and maybe…just maybe…more success stories.

But those first guinea pigs? They’ll always have a special place in reality TV history. They truly paved the road for the future seasons.
