Remember Season 8 of Married At First Sight Australia? Oh honey, how could we forget? It was a whirlwind of drama, tears, and questionable decisions. But where are all those lovebirds (or should we say, love-sparrows?) now?

Let's start with the couples who, shall we say, didn't quite make it to their golden anniversary. First up, we have Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson.
Against all odds, and despite everyone thinking they were doomed, they are still together! They are married with twins, and honestly, good for them! It's like the ultimate "we told you so" to all the haters.

Then there's Jake Edwards. Remember him? He was paired with Rebecca Zemek, and their relationship was… chaotic, to put it mildly. He seems to be enjoying life out of the spotlight and focusing on his mental health advocacy. Good on him!
Speaking of Rebecca Zemek, she welcomed her first baby in 2023. She seems very happy and is slaying the single mom life.
Poor old Patrick Dwyer. Paired with Belinda Vickers, they seemed like a good match for a hot minute, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. Now, he's busy flexing on Instagram, posting about fitness and living his best life!
And what about Belinda Vickers? She is still glowing! She seems to be enjoying her life outside of the spotlight.
The "Almost Made It" Crew
Some couples gave us a glimmer of hope before crashing and burning. Take Liam Cooper, the show's first openly bisexual groom. He was matched with Georgia Fairweather. That relationship ended in spectacular fashion at the final vows!
Now, Liam Cooper is engaged to his partner Samuel Levi, and they look super happy!
As for Georgia Fairweather, she's living in Italy, darling! From Brisbane to Europe - now that's a glow up. We love to see it.
Let's not forget about Samantha Harvey! Her relationship with Cameron Dunne was, shall we say, interesting.
Samantha Harvey seems to be focused on her family and business, and looking absolutely fabulous while doing it.
The Ones We Still Think About (Because, Drama!)
Of course, no MAFS season is complete without a little bit of scandal. Remember Coco Stedman and her… connection with Cameron Dunne? Talk about a plot twist!
Coco Stedman is now married and has a child! Life is good.
We haven't forgotten about Joanne Todd! She's a hair stylist, so you know she is living her best life.
Russell Duance is living a quiet life now, sailing and away from the spotlight.
Final Thoughts
Season 8 of MAFS Australia was a wild ride, full of heartbreak, betrayal, and the occasional heartwarming moment. Some found lasting love, others found valuable life lessons, and all of them gave us plenty to talk about around the water cooler.
Regardless of where they are now, one thing's for sure: they'll always be a part of the MAFS history books. And we'll always be here to stalk their Instagram accounts. It's a win-win!
