Lord El-melloi Ii Case Files Season 2

Alright, Let's Talk Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files Season 2 (Kind Of)
Okay, so maybe calling it "Season 2" is a bit cheeky. But hear me out! We got the "Rail Zeppelin" arc, which was amazing. Then... silence. Radio silence from the anime gods.
Is anyone else secretly thinking this show is way better than it gets credit for? Don't get me wrong, Fate/Zero is legendary. But Lord El-Melloi II figuring stuff out is strangely compelling.
It's like Sherlock Holmes with magic, but less, you know, actually solving crimes. More like Sherlock Holmes pondering metaphysical dilemmas while drinking tea.
Must Read
The "Rail Zeppelin" Arc Was Gold
The whole train mystery thing was just chef's kiss. The suspense, the twists, the characters! It was everything you could want in a magical murder mystery.
And that resolution? Talk about bittersweet. Poor Gray. Someone give that girl a hug (and maybe a new mystic code).

Seriously though, Reines El-Melloi Archisorte and Gray are an amazing duo. Their dynamic is so entertaining. Can we get a spin-off of just them bickering, please?
My Hot Take: Waver Velvet is the Best Fate Protagonist (Deal With It)
Okay, unpopular opinion incoming! I think Waver, aka Lord El-Melloi II, is the most relatable Fate protagonist. He's not some chosen one or legendary hero.
He's just a normal guy, thrust into a crazy world. He's flawed, he makes mistakes, and he's constantly overwhelmed. Sounds familiar, right?

Plus, he's actually smart! No offense to Shirou, but Waver's intellect is a refreshing change of pace. Give the guy some credit.
Where's the Rest? (Seriously, Where?)
The "Rail Zeppelin" arc adapted a good chunk of the novels. But there's still so much more story to tell! We need more cases!
I'm dying to see more of his students. Especially that sassy girl who's always trying to outsmart him. Come on, anime studios, give the people what they want!

Maybe it's just me, but I find the magical politics in Lord El-Melloi II's world fascinating. All the different families and their weird traditions. It's like a magical soap opera.
Final Thoughts (and a Plea)
So, is it technically a "Season 2"? Maybe not. But it deserves to be. It really does.
Let's be honest, this series has some of the best character development in the entire Fate franchise. Watching Waver grow from a scared kid to a respected teacher is genuinely heartwarming.

Dear anime gods, if you're listening: Please, please, PLEASE give us more Lord El-Melloi II Case Files. We're begging you! We'll even start a petition! Just give Waver and Gray the love they deserve.
And hey, even if it's just a few more OVAs, I'll take it. Just anything to see more of this amazing series. Pretty please? With sugar on top?
