Live Action Attack On Titan Part 2

Live Action Attack On Titan Part 2

Okay, Let's Talk About That Attack on Titan Live Action...Part 2

We all remember the first Attack on Titan live-action movie, right? Giant naked titans terrorizing humanity. Good times! But what about Part 2?

Yeah, the one everyone conveniently forgets. Let's dive in, shall we?

The Explosions! Oh, The Explosions!

Part 2 had…stuff. Lots of stuff blowing up! Did it make sense? Sometimes. Did it look cool? Arguably.

The budget clearly went to pyrotechnics. I mean, at least they committed, right?

Eren: Still Confused, Still Angry

Our boy Eren. Always yelling, always transforming. He was still the same Eren we know and...tolerate?

The actor did his best. He really did. But it’s hard to capture that anime intensity in live-action.

Mikasa: Quietly Kick-Butt

Mikasa. Our stoic, scarf-loving badass. I actually thought she was pretty good in Part 2.

She silently judged everyone while slicing up titans. Queen behavior, honestly.

The Plot Thickens (Like Gravy?)

Remember the plot? Yeah, me neither. Something about titans being people? Or people being titans?

Or maybe just a big misunderstanding. It got a bit convoluted. Like a bad fanfiction.

Honestly, at this point, it felt like they were throwing everything at the wall to see what stuck. And a lot didn't.

Hange: Eccentricity Level: Over 9000!

Hange's portrayal was...interesting. Super over-the-top and eccentric. Is that a good thing? I don't know!

They definitely went full anime with that character. Commitment is admirable, I guess.

The Special Effects: A Mixed Bag

The titans looked...well, they looked like titans. Sort of. The CGI wasn't always the greatest.

Sometimes they looked genuinely terrifying. Other times, they looked like they escaped from a low-budget video game. Consistency is key, people!

The Ending: Did We Even Need One?

Did Part 2 even have a real ending? I'm honestly not sure. It kind of just...stopped.

Maybe they ran out of budget for explosions. Who knows?

My Unpopular Opinion: It's Still Entertaining

Okay, here's the controversial part. I kind of enjoyed it! Not in a "good movie" way. But in a "so bad it's good" way.

It's like watching a train wreck. You can't look away. You just have to see how much further it can go off the rails.

So, yeah. Attack on Titan Part 2. A flawed masterpiece? A glorious mess? You decide!

But admit it, you're at least a little bit curious to rewatch it now, aren't you? Don't lie.

Just remember to lower your expectations. Way, way down. Like, subterranean levels of low expectations.

Then, and only then, can you truly appreciate the…uniqueness…of this cinematic experience.
