Law & Order Svu Season 22 Episode 14

"Trick Roller" – Let's Dish!
Okay, Law & Order: SVU fans. Season 22, Episode 14, "Trick Roller" is on the docket.
Time to discuss this rollercoaster. Buckle up, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
The Case of the...Influencer?
We have Carisi dealing with an influencer. Of course. Is there anything more 2020?
Must Read
Her brand is "Clean Slate." But her life? Far from it, apparently.
Social media and real life colliding is classic SVU fodder.
Benson's "Mom" Moments
Benson continues to be everyone's therapist. It's her superpower.
She's juggling work, Noah, and now mentoring troubled influencers? Superwoman status achieved.
Though, sometimes I wish she'd just take a vacation. Girl needs a spa day!

My Unpopular Opinion
Here it is. I'm saying it. This episode felt…a little predictable?
The "twists" weren't exactly earth-shattering.
It felt like a paint-by-numbers SVU, and they usually do a great job.
Carisi's Legal Gymnastics
Poor Carisi. He is always stressed. The guy just wants to win a case!
Trying to navigate the influencer's web of lies? Definitely a headache.
I always root for him. Even when his suits are questionable.

Fin's One-Liners
We need to talk about Fin Tutuola. He drops the best lines. No matter the situation.
He's the comic relief we didn't know we needed. But, so very thankful for!
Someone give Ice-T a raise. Seriously.
The Verdict?
Look, "Trick Roller" wasn't bad. But it wasn't blowing my mind.
It's solid SVU comfort food. Which, some days, is exactly what you need.
Just saying, I expected a bit more from Season 22.

Let's Talk Tech
Rollins always seems to be the most tech-savvy of the group.
She's the one deciphering the latest social media trends.
It's kind of great to see her using those skills to help solve cases.
The Ending...Thoughts?
Did the ending leave you satisfied? Or wanting more?
I felt like it wrapped up a little too neatly. But what are you gonna do?
Maybe I'm just a cynical SVU viewer. Probably.

Overall Impression
So, "Trick Roller"? Decent episode.
Worth watching? Sure. Just don't expect groundbreaking television.
Now, bring on the next case! Let's hope it's a real nail-biter!
