Law & Order Special Victims Unit Season 22 Episode 16

SVU Season 22 Episode 16: My Hot Take (You Might Disagree!)
Okay, let's talk SVU. Specifically, season 22, episode 16. You know, the one with…stuff happening.
Detective Rollins: Underrated Hero?
Here's my controversial opinion: Rollins is the unsung hero of the squad. Everyone's always fawning over Olivia, but Amanda's got grit! And she's not afraid to bend the rules a little (okay, maybe a lot).
Don’t get me wrong, I love Olivia, but Rollins is just…more relatable. She makes mistakes. We all do!
Must Read
The Case: A Bit…Meh?
Let’s be real, the case itself wasn't exactly groundbreaking, was it? Another ripped-from-the-headlines story.
I’m not saying it wasn't important, but it felt…standard SVU fare. Give me something with a twist!
Remember that episode with the creepy doll? Now that was entertainment.

Carisi: The Steady Eddy
And then there’s Carisi. Bless his heart. He's like the golden retriever of the squad. Loyal, dependable, and always there to fetch you a warrant.
But sometimes, I wish he’d just unleash a little! Where's the passion, Sonny? Where's the spice?
We see glimpses of it, especially when he’s protecting his friends. But a little more fire would be welcome.

Olivia Benson: Still Holding Strong
Of course, we can't forget Olivia Benson. The queen. The legend. The one who's seen it all. Is she starting to get a little…weary? Maybe. Is she still a boss? Absolutely.
I sometimes wonder how she manages to keep going after all these years. She needs a vacation! Stat!
Maybe a spa day with Rollins? They deserve it.
Fin Tutuola: The Sarcastic King
And Fin? Never change, Fin. Your sarcastic comments are the glue that holds this whole operation together. Every squad needs a Fin. He's seen so much crazy stuff, nothing surprises him anymore.

I imagine him just rolling his eyes at every new outrageous crime. He is us, watching from home and saying 'Seriously?'
His one-liners deserve their own spin-off show.
My Unpopular Verdict
So, all in all, SVU Season 22 Episode 16? Decent. Watchable. But not exactly one for the ages. Maybe a solid 7/10.

It had its moments. Rollins shone (as always). But the case was a bit predictable. I’m hoping for more surprises in future episodes.
But hey, even a mediocre SVU episode is better than most things on TV, right? And I will still watch them all!
Now, tell me I’m wrong! What did you think of the episode? Let’s debate in the comments!
