Law And Order Organized Crime Season 1 Episode 2

Okay, let's talk Law & Order: Organized Crime, Season 1, Episode 2. We're diving right in, folks. And honestly? It's… interesting.
I know, I know. People love Stabler. He's back! But, unpopular opinion incoming: this episode? A little clunky.
Did anyone else feel like the pacing was all over the place? One minute we're dealing with the mafia, the next, emotional baggage. It's a lot!
Must Read
The "Story" So Far...
Basically, Stabler is trying to take down the Wheatley family. They're bad news, obviously. Think family business, but with a lot more murder.
But Stabler also has to deal with his grief over his wife's death. And his estranged kids are back. Drama, drama, drama!
Wheatley's Wi-Fi Woes?
Am I the only one who thought Richard Wheatley, the villain, was a bit... cheesy? Like, tech genius meets mob boss? It felt forced.

And the whole plot with him hacking everything? A little too convenient, even for TV. Maybe I'm just old school. Remember when hacking meant actually typing stuff?
I mean, the guy controls the city's power grid from his laptop! Seriously? Even my grandma wouldn't buy that.
Stabler's Struggle Bus
Look, I get it. Stabler's grieving. But his impulsive behavior in this episode? Yikes. He's practically begging to get suspended.

Remember when he used to, like, mostly follow the rules? Now he's just a one-man wrecking crew. Is this character development, or just a mid-life crisis?
And the scenes with his family? Heartbreaking, sure. But also, a little too much exposition. Show, don't tell, people!
Detective Bell: The Only Sane Person?
Honestly, the best part of this episode was Detective Bell. She's the voice of reason in a sea of chaos. Bless her heart.
She's trying to keep Stabler in line, manage the case, and deal with all the political stuff. She deserves a raise. And a vacation.

Can we get a spin-off where it's just Bell solving crimes with common sense? I'd watch that.
The Verdict?
So, unpopular opinion: Episode 2 wasn't a home run. It had potential. But it felt rushed and a bit over the top.
I'm still holding out hope for the rest of the season. Maybe it just needed to find its footing. Stabler's got a lot of baggage, after all.

But seriously, Wheatley hacking the power grid? Come on. Let's dial back the theatrics, okay?
Ultimately, will I keep watching? Probably. I'm a sucker for Law & Order. And I'm curious to see where this whole Wheatley saga goes.
But here's hoping the writing gets a little tighter. And that Stabler gets some therapy. For everyone's sake.
What did you think? Am I completely off base? Let me know!
