Kuro Gal Ni Natta Kara Shinyuu To

Okay, so hear me out. Maybe it's just me. But becoming a kuro gal changed things.
Specifically, my friendship with Shinyuu. And not in a bad way, necessarily. Just... different.
The Tan Truth
Before, we were two peas in a pod. Same interests, same style, same everything! We were basically twins, separated at birth (and by hair color).
Must Read
Now? I'm rocking the tanned skin, bleached hair, and platform boots. She's still... well, she's still Shinyuu.
And that's where things get interesting.
Wardrobe Wars
Remember sharing clothes? Gone. Just... gone.

My mini skirts are a little too mini for her taste. And her flowy dresses? Let's just say they clash with my whole vibe.
It's probably for the best. Imagine me trying to pull off pastels! Disaster!
The "Are You Sure?" Look
Whenever I suggest a new hangout spot, I get "the look." You know the one. The slightly concerned, "are you sure that's appropriate for us?" look.
Look, I get it. Not everyone's comfortable with the loud music and the... shall we say, interesting clientele at some of my favorite spots.

But hey, a girl's gotta explore! And sometimes, a girl wants a sugary drink with questionable ingredients.
Suddenly, I'm the "Experienced" One
Suddenly, I'm the one giving relationship advice. Me! The girl who used to ask Shinyuu for help picking out the perfect text message emoji.
Now, I'm dispensing wisdom about confidence and self-expression. It’s bizarre. I feel like I aged ten years overnight.
It's like becoming a kuro gal unlocked some hidden level of…something. I don't know what. But it involves glitter and unwavering confidence.

Unpopular Opinion Alert!
Okay, here it comes. My unpopular opinion: I think our friendship is stronger because of the change.
Before, we were too similar. We relied on each other for everything. Now, we're forced to be individuals.
It's like we're learning from each other in new ways. She's showing me the value of staying true to yourself, and I'm showing her that it's okay to embrace your wild side (with sunscreen, of course).
Different Doesn't Mean Distant
Don't get me wrong. We still have our inside jokes and our late-night talks. We still support each other through thick and thin.

We just do it with a little more…distance. And a lot more contrasting fashion choices.
It's proof that friendship can evolve. It can bend, but it doesn't have to break.
So, yeah, becoming a kuro gal changed my friendship with Shinyuu. But maybe, just maybe, it changed it for the better.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a hair appointment. Gotta keep that bleach fresh!
