Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 8

Okay, Let's Talk About Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8
Alright, everyone. Let's dive into the Entertainment District Arc! Specifically, episode 8. Get ready for some potentially spicy takes.
I said potentially, okay? Don't come at me with your Nichirin blades just yet.
Was it just me, or...?
Did anyone else think the fighting was… a little repetitive in this episode? I mean, Uzui Tengen looked fabulous, as always.
Must Read
But was I the only one who was a little bored by the constant slashing and explosions? Just me? Okay, moving on.
Let's be honest, Gyutaro is one ugly dude. Seriously, someone needs to give him a spa day. And maybe some dental work.
Zenitsu's Screams: A Blessing or a Curse?
Oh, Zenitsu. You either love him or you want to mute him. There's no in-between.
His screaming technique is…unique, to say the least. Effective? Maybe. Annoying? Debatable. But definitely memorable.

Sometimes I think he screams more than he actually fights. Is he a demon slayer or a professional screamer? Questions for the ages.
Nezuko, the MVP (as Usual)
Okay, can we all agree that Nezuko is the real MVP of this whole arc? Seriously, she's constantly saving the day.
Her blood demon art is so cool! Burning away poison? Come on, that's just awesome.
I would totally hire her as my personal bodyguard. Forget about the fancy alarm systems, I'd just have Nezuko.
The Flashiness Factor
Uzui Tengen is obsessed with flashiness. We get it, you're flamboyant. You don't need to remind us every five seconds.

I appreciate the visual spectacle, don't get me wrong. But sometimes I just want him to focus on, you know, actually defeating the demons.
Maybe he should try channeling his inner Tanjiro for a bit. A little less flash, a little more focus.
The Ending...
The ending of the episode felt like a cliffhanger designed purely to make us suffer. Which, you know, it worked.
How many more episodes until they finally defeat Gyutaro and Daki? My heart can't take much more of this suspense!

I'm already bracing myself for the emotional fallout. Somebody please get me a box of tissues.
And a pizza. Because emotional eating is totally a valid coping mechanism, right? Don't judge.
So, that's my slightly controversial take on episode 8. What do you think? Am I completely off base? Let me know!
Unless you disagree, then I am not listening. Just kidding! (Mostly.)
One More Thing...
Side note: Anyone else think the Upper Rank Six demons have the most ridiculous sibling dynamic ever?

Seriously, they bicker more than my siblings and I do on Thanksgiving. And that's saying something.
Maybe they need a therapist. Or a really, really long time-out.
Okay, I'm done now. Go watch more Demon Slayer! And maybe bring a friend. Misery loves company, after all.
But remember, Nezuko is the best. Don't @ me.
Disclaimer: This is all just my humble (and potentially incorrect) opinion. Please don't send demons after me. I'm just a fan!
