Kenny's death felt like a plot device. A way to kickstart the season with drama.

Villanelle's wedding murder felt...like something we'd already seen before. Just with a white dress.

I understand the need to raise the stakes. But perhaps subtlety was sacrificed for spectacle.

Look, I still love Killing Eve. I truly do. The fashion! The dark humor! The chemistry!

But that first episode of Season 3? It just didn't grab me the way the previous seasons did.

It felt like it was trying too hard to outdo itself. Trying to be more shocking, more twisted, more… Killing Eve-y.
