Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 5 Ep 13

Okay, let's talk Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Specifically, Season 5, Episode 13. Did anyone else feel…underwhelmed?
I know, I know. Blasphemy! We all love our guidos and guidettes. But hear me out.
The Meatball Showdown (Sort Of)
The episode heavily focused on the drama between Angelina and Snooki. Remember the wine throwing? It was supposed to be the main course. A proper meatball war.
Must Read
Instead, it felt like a lukewarm meatball appetizer. A little sauce, not much spice.
Unpopular opinion time: I think both of them were being a little dramatic. Just a little.
Did We Need Another Roommate Feud?
Honestly, haven't we seen this before? Angelina clashing with someone? Groundbreaking.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the drama. It's what keeps us watching. But sometimes, it feels a bit recycled.

Maybe it's just me, but I was hoping for something… fresh.
Ronnie's (Lack Of) Presence
Let's address the elephant in the room, or rather, the lack of an elephant. Where's Ronnie?
His absence is definitely felt. He always brought a certain… energy. Chaotic energy, but energy nonetheless.
I'm not saying I miss the drama. But the show is definitely different without him. It's a hole.

The Rest of the Crew: Same Old, Same Old?
Pauly D is still DJ-ing. Vinny is still keto-obsessed. Mike "The Situation" is still the voice of reason.
Deena is still adorable and trying to keep the peace. Bless her heart. They're all comfortable. But did anything... happen?
It's comfortable. It's familiar. Is it thrilling television? Debatable.
The "Funfetti" of it All
The little sprinkles of fun were there. Pauly's pranks. Vinny's one-liners. Deena's genuine sweetness.

They are the funfetti of the show. The sprinkles that make the cake a little more palatable.
But sprinkles alone don't make a cake, right? You need substance. A good base. And that's where this episode felt a little lacking.
My Unpopular Verdict
So, here it is. My unpopular opinion: Episode 13 was… okay. Just okay.
It wasn't terrible. It wasn't amazing. It was just…there. Like lukewarm leftovers from a Sunday dinner.

Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe I'm just craving something new. Or maybe, just maybe, the Jersey Shore crew needs to spice things up a little. We need a shot of tequila.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still be watching. I'm invested. I'm a ride or die Jersey Shore fan. But I'm hoping for more. More laughs, more drama, more oomph.
What do you think? Am I being too harsh? Or did you feel the same way? Let me know in the comments!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go re-watch the OG seasons. For research purposes, of course. 😉
