Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 Episode 0

Okay, Let's Talk About That Jersey Shore: Family Vacation "Special"
Season 4 Episode 0. Or... was it even an episode? I have thoughts. Controversial thoughts, maybe.
Let's be real. It was basically a clip show. But dressed up in a fancy quarantine outfit.
The Setup: Remember When?
We saw the crew prepping for lockdown. Remember hand sanitizer shortages? Good times (not!).
Must Read
They showed old footage. Lots of old footage. I felt like I was watching a really long, expensive commercial for Jersey Shore.
Did anyone else feel like they were just killing time? Waiting for actual new content?
Unpopular Opinion Time!
Here's my hot take: I kind of enjoyed it. There, I said it.
Yes, it was mostly recycled moments. But sometimes, you just need a dose of the guidos and guidettes.

Especially when the world feels a bit crazy. Snooki falling down? Always a classic.
The "Drama"
They rehashed the Angelina wedding drama. Again.
I'm convinced they will be talking about that for the next ten seasons. Can we move on already?
Maybe I'm just over it. Or maybe I secretly enjoy the mess. Don't judge me!
Quarantine Life, Jersey Shore Style
We saw them doing puzzles. Trying to cook (questionable results). Basically, being bored.

Just like the rest of us! Except with bigger houses and way more hair gel.
Pauly D's DJ skills were on full display. Because of course they were.
MVP of the "Episode"?
Gotta give it to Mike "The Situation". He's really embraced the "dad" role.
He seems genuinely happy. Sober. Relatively sane. It's a nice change of pace.

He definitely brought the positive vibes. Even during a clip show.
Was it Worth It?
Honestly? Probably not. But I watched it anyway.
And I chuckled. And maybe even reminisced a little. Is that so wrong?
It was a low-stakes way to ease back into the Jersey Shore universe. Before the real drama hits.
Final Thoughts (Before Season 4 Really Starts)
I'm hoping for less rehashing. And more actual family vacationing.

I want to see them get into trouble. In a new location. With new shenanigans.
But I'll still watch, even if it's just them playing Monopoly for an hour. I'm that invested.
So, was Episode 0 essential viewing? No. But was it a mildly entertaining distraction? Absolutely.
Now, bring on the real season! And maybe some actual beach time. Preferably with less drama (but probably not).
Did you like the Episode 0? Let me know! Maybe we can agree to disagree!
