Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 15 Episode 6

The Gang Solves Global Warming (But Mostly Fails)
Okay, let’s talk It’s Always Sunny, specifically season 15, episode 6. "The Gang Solves Global Warming". Did anyone else find it… underrated? I'm just saying.
The premise is simple: the gang tries to fix global warming. Of course, it's through their usual chaotic and selfish methods. Expect nothing less.
Charlie's Genius (Or Lack Thereof)
Charlie, bless his heart, has a plan. It involves garbage, as most of his plans do. He becomes obsessed with recycling.
Must Read
His passion, while admirable, is completely misguided. He ends up hoarding trash in the bar's basement, naturally.
Anyone else find Charlie's commitment weirdly endearing? I know, I know, he's still Charlie. But a little part of me was rooting for him. Maybe just a tiny part.
Dee's Performative Activism
Dee, ever the attention seeker, jumps on the eco-bandwagon. She wants to appear woke and virtuous.
Her activism involves staging protests. But the protests are mainly about her getting attention. No surprise there.

Is it just me, or is Dee actually becoming more insufferable with each season? It's almost impressive. Almost.
Mac's Bodybuilding & Green Energy
Mac, in his infinite wisdom, believes that muscles can solve anything. Even climate change.
He decides to generate green energy. Through exercise, of course. And lots of protein.
The visual of Mac furiously biking is hilarious. And a bit concerning. Does he ever sleep?

Dennis & Frank: The Cynical Duo
Dennis and Frank are, as always, the voices of cynical "reason." They see global warming as a business opportunity.
Their solution involves selling "carbon credits." Which basically amounts to scamming people.
Honestly, are we surprised? Frank and Dennis being amoral is basically the show’s bread and butter. They're the epitome of the show's humor.
Why This Episode Is Underrated (My Unpopular Opinion)
Okay, here's where I might lose some of you. I think this episode is better than some give it credit for. It perfectly captures the gang's selfishness. And their complete inability to grasp complex issues.

The satire is sharp. It mocks performative activism. And the empty promises of corporations.
Sure, it's not the funniest episode ever. But it's smart. And surprisingly relevant.
The ending, with the gang making things worse, is classic Sunny. They never learn. And that's why we love them.
Maybe I'm biased. Maybe I just have a soft spot for environmental disasters. But I stand by my opinion. This episode is a solid Sunny outing.

What did you think? Am I completely off my rocker? Let me know in the comments. I'm ready for the backlash!
Just kidding (mostly). Although, if you disagree, at least be nice about it. We're all just trying to survive in this warming world.
The Verdict
The Gang Solves Global Warming might not be everyone’s favorite. But it’s got the signature chaotic energy of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
The gang doesn’t save the planet. They only make things worse, as usual. This is why we appreciate this sitcom.
It's a fun ride that hilariously reminds us how easy it is to fail at even the best intentions.
