Is This The Last Season Of This Is Us

Is This Really The Last Dance for the Pearsons?
Okay, hear me out. We all cried buckets when This Is Us wrapped up. Remember those final scenes? So. Many. Tears.
But, did it really have to end? I'm throwing it out there: maybe, just maybe, ending it was a mistake.
Unpopular Opinion Alert!
I know, I know. Everyone's all about letting stories end gracefully. But This Is Us? I think it had more story to tell.
Must Read
Think about it. The kids are grown. They have their own dramas. Wouldn't it be great to see those dramas unfold?
I mean, we got snippets. But snippets aren't enough! We need the full Pearson treatment. We need the flashbacks, the heart-to-hearts, the ugly cries.
Life After Rebecca: So Much Untapped Potential!
The last season focused a lot on Rebecca. Which was beautiful, don't get me wrong.

But what about everyone else? Kate is doing her thing, but is that all there is? I think not.
And Kevin? Come on! He just found his footing. We need to see him navigate life with his family, not just a montage.
Don’t even get me started on Randall. He is practically a saint, but even saints have issues. We need to see him be human, with all the messy complications that entails.
The Next Generation
Then there are the grandchildren! We barely know them! Imagine a whole new generation of Pearsons messing up, learning, and loving.

Think about the possibilities! Therapy bills galore! Thanksgiving dinners that would make your head spin! It's TV gold!
Plus, they all have some weird name like Hope or Matty so it's endless possibility for confusion. Do you know the Pearsons without some confusion?
Hear Me Out: A Limited Series Revival?
Maybe a full-blown reboot is too much. But a limited series? Focusing on one particular Pearson sibling? Now we're talking!

Imagine a season dedicated to Kate's journey as a mom and a wife. Or one that explores Kevin's struggles with fame and family.
Or a season about Randall dealing with the pressures of political life and adopted family dynamics. The story lines are there!
Never Say Never
I know, I know. The creators have said it's over. But things change! People change! Networks get desperate for ratings!
Okay, maybe that last one was a little cynical. But a girl can dream, right? I just think there's still so much love and laughter to be found within the Pearson family.

So, to the powers that be: Please! Give us more This Is Us! Pretty please with a cherry on top?
And If Not...
Fine. I'll just keep re-watching the old episodes and crying. And maybe writing fan fiction. Don't judge me.
But seriously, let's start a petition. #MoreThisIsUs #ThePearsonsForever. Who's with me?
It’s worth a shot, right? You know you miss the Pearsons too!
