Is There Going To Be Another Doc Martin Series

Plus, think of all that beautiful Cornish scenery! Surely someone is itching to film there again.

Let's be honest. We miss the Doc's awkward bedside manner. And Mrs. Tishell's unrequited love.

A reunion special? A Christmas episode? The possibilities are endless! Imagine Louisa navigating teenage life with James Henry. Pure comedy gold!

However... Maybe it's best to leave things where they are. Seven series is a good run. We wouldn't want it to become stale.

Imagine the Doc becoming too nice. That would ruin everything! Part of the charm was his complete lack of social skills.

Here's where I might lose some of you. I don't really want another full series.

Gasp! I know, I know. But hear me out.

I think a one-off special would be perfect. A chance to see where everyone is now. Catch up with their lives.

We could see Bert Large finally (maybe!) make a success of his business. Perhaps Pauline has found inner peace. Unlikely, but we can dream!

And, of course, some classic Doc Martin medical mishaps. The Doc getting himself into trouble.

But a full series risks overdoing it. Diluting the magic. Let's keep the memories fresh!

Now, a spin-off…that's a different story. Imagine a series following Mrs. Tishell and her romantic escapades!

Or perhaps a comedy focusing on Al Large's adventures? The possibilities are endless!

Let's face it, Port Isaac is full of quirky characters. There's plenty of scope for new stories.

However, without the Doc's grumpy presence, would it still feel like Doc Martin?

So, will there be another series of Doc Martin? Your guess is as good as mine.

Probably not. But hope springs eternal, especially when there's a demand.

For now, we can re-watch the existing episodes. Relive the awkward moments. And dream of pasties by the sea.

And secretly hope that Martin Clunes changes his mind.
