Is All Rise Going to Rise Again? Let's Be Real.

Okay, courtroom drama fans, let's talk. Remember All Rise? The show with Judge Lola Carmichael, played by the amazing Simone Missick?

It had us hooked, right? Or... did it? I have an unpopular opinion brewing.

The show had its ups and downs. Season 1 felt fresh. Season 2? Well, things got... complicated, both on and off screen.

Then came the cancellation on CBS. Ouch! But wait, there was hope! OWN swooped in to revive it for a third season. A twist!

But now that Season 3 has wrapped, the big question lingers: Is there a future for All Rise?

Here's the thing, folks. I'm not entirely convinced it should come back. gasp I said it!

Don't get me wrong. I love Simone Missick. She's a powerhouse. But sometimes, a show just... runs its course.

Maybe three seasons is a good run. Plus, is it me, or did the storylines start feeling a little... forced?

Think about it. So many shows try to recapture the magic. But it's often just a shadow of what it was.

Remember that plotline with that character? It jumped the shark! It made me question the writer's judgment. I was disappointed.

It felt like they were trying too hard to be relevant. The spark faded away. The show became so predictable!

Okay, okay, I hear you! Some of you are shouting at your screens. You love the characters! You need closure!

And I get it. Lola and Mark! Their friendship (or more?!) is undeniably engaging. What about their future?

Plus, a show highlighting diversity in the legal system? Always important. That's why All Rise resonated with so many.

Honestly, I'm torn. A part of me wants to see Lola keep fighting the good fight. See their stories.

But another part thinks it's better to leave it on a (relatively) high note. Protect the show from becoming something unrecognizable.

The TV landscape is crowded. Maybe it's time for new stories, new voices. All Rise had its moment.

So, will All Rise return? I have no insider information. But my gut says... probably not.

And honestly? I'm okay with that. I'd rather remember the good parts. The exciting parts. And move on.
