Is Season 5 Of Snowfall The Last Season

Wait, Was Season 5 the Real End of Snowfall?
Okay, okay, hear me out. Snowfall officially ended with Season 6. We all know that.
But...did it really? I have a sneaking suspicion Season 5 secretly wrapped everything up just fine.
Confession Time: I Kind of Liked Season 5's "Ending" Better.
Don't get me wrong. I watched Season 6. I even (gasp!) enjoyed parts of it.
Must Read
However, something about Season 5's conclusion felt...complete. Bear with me!
Think about it. Franklin was starting to lose everything. His grip was slipping.
His empire was crumbling, and the walls were closing in. Sound familiar?
The Downward Spiral Was Already in Full Swing
Season 5 showed us Franklin at his most desperate. Remember that bank heist? Yikes.

It was the beginning of the end, for sure. He made so many mistakes.
Cissy finally had enough, too. She just wanted a good life for her son and herself.
She put a bullet in a man's chest for Franklin. But it seems he's too far gone.
The "Moral of the Story" Moment
Season 5 gave us that classic "crime doesn't pay" message pretty darn hard. It felt earned.
Franklin was losing his money, his family, and his mind! What else did we need to see?

Maybe I'm just a sucker for a tragic fall from grace. A nice slow burn.
But to me, Franklin's descent in Season 5 was Shakespearean. It was painful to watch.
Season 6...Felt Like an Epilogue, Almost.
Now, Season 6 had its moments. Seeing Franklin as a broken shell of himself was powerful.
But after the intensity of Season 5, it almost felt like an extended epilogue. An aftermath.

Maybe the writers wanted to hammer home the consequences. Or tie up every single loose end.
But did we really need to see all of that? I'm not convinced.
Unpopular opinion alert: Snowfall Season 5 was the perfect ending. Change my mind!
I'm Ready for the Hate Mail (Maybe)
I know, I know. This is probably a controversial take. Snowfall fans are passionate!
But I had to get it off my chest. Season 5 just felt...right.

It left me with that lingering feeling of "what if?" and "could things have been different?" Isn't that what great TV does?
So, what do you think? Am I totally off base? Or did anyone else feel the same way?
Let's Discuss!
I'm genuinely curious to hear your thoughts. Let's debate in the comments.
Just be nice! Remember, we're all just fans of a great show called Snowfall.
And if you disagree, that's totally fine. Maybe I'll even rewatch Season 6 and see your point!
