Is Season 10 Of American Horror Story Over

Okay, let's talk American Horror Story. Specifically, season 10. Remember Double Feature? It feels like a lifetime ago, doesn't it?
I'm just gonna say it. And maybe this is an unpopular opinion. But... is it technically over? Like, really over?
The Two-Part Tango
Season 10, bless its heart, tried something new. Two mini-seasons! One about vampires in Provincetown, the other about aliens in the desert. Ambitious!
Must Read
The first part, "Red Tide," started strong. Black pills, pale people, Sarah Paulson being wonderfully weird. We were hooked.
Then... things got weird. And not the good kind of weird AHS usually nails.
Aliens... Really?
Part two, "Death Valley," brought us aliens. I love aliens! But something felt off. Like it was a totally different show.

The connection between the two halves felt… tenuous at best. Did you even remember the vampires when the aliens landed? I barely did.
It was like ordering a pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. Two good things, maybe. But together? A culinary crime against humanity. Or at least, television.
Did It Even Land?
So, back to the question. Is it over? I'm arguing... yes, and no. "Red Tide" had a decent, if rushed, conclusion. It felt like its own story.

“Death Valley” though… let's just say I’m still not entirely sure what happened. Did they defeat the aliens? Did everyone die? Did I just dream the whole thing?
Maybe that's the real horror: existential confusion!
The "Unfinished Symphony" Effect
Think of it like this: it's like listening to an unfinished symphony. The first movement is brilliant. But the second is… different. And then it just…stops.
Do you say you listened to the whole symphony? Or just the first part? I'm leaning towards the latter.

For me, Double Feature season ended with "Red Tide." The aliens were a bonus episode I maybe accidentally clicked on while half-asleep.
Reclaiming Our Viewing Sanity
Look, American Horror Story has given us some incredible seasons. Murder House? Asylum? Coven? Classics!
But sometimes, even the best shows have a stumble. And maybe, just maybe, we can quietly pretend "Death Valley" was a fever dream.

Let's remember the good parts of Double Feature (mainly, Sarah Paulson). And gently move on to the next horrifying chapter. Agreed?
The Verdict (Maybe)
So, there you have it. My highly subjective, possibly insane, opinion. Season 10 is over... in spirit, at least.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch Asylum and pretend aliens never happened.
Don’t judge me. You know you want to too!
