Is Evan Peters In Season 3 Of Ahs

Okay, Hear Me Out: Evan Peters... Underrated in Coven?
Let's talk American Horror Story: Coven. We all love it, right? Witches, voodoo, sassy one-liners. But I have a confession.
I think Evan Peters as Kyle Spencer is… well, kind of overlooked. Now, before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out!
He's Technically There
Yes, Kyle is technically in Season 3. He's the frat guy who gets... well, you know. Run over. Turned into a Frankenstein-esque creation.
Must Read
It's not exactly a starring role. But it's Evan Peters! He can make anything interesting.
Is it just me, or does it feel like he’s a minor character in his own story? It might be an unpopular opinion, but I am just saying it.
The Trauma Is Real (and Understated)
Kyle goes through a LOT. Death, reanimation, muteness, mother issues. It's a whole Lifetime movie worth of trauma.

But does he get the emotional depth he deserves? I'm not so sure. We see his anger and confusion, but it felt rushed.
I wanted more from Kyle’s storyline, more from Evan Peters. Was I expecting too much?
Compared to His Other Roles
Think about his other AHS characters. Tate Langdon? James Patrick March? Even Kit Walker had more to do!
Those roles are iconic. They’re complex. They give Evan Peters room to shine. Coven… not so much.

Don't get me wrong, he does what he can with the material. But the material itself feels lacking.
The "Frankenstein" Trope
The "monster" narrative has been done before. Kyle’s story feels like a rehash of familiar tropes.
I mean the poor guy can barely talk! It limits what Evan Peters can bring to the role.
We are waiting to see what Kyle has to say to give depth to the plot, and he just grunts.

So, Here's My Point...
I'm not saying Evan Peters is bad in Coven. Not at all. He's always watchable.
But I do think his talent is a bit wasted. He's capable of so much more, and Coven doesn't fully utilize it.
Maybe it's because the season is so packed with amazing female characters. Maybe it's just the writing.
Maybe It's Just Me
Maybe I'm completely alone in this. Maybe everyone else thinks Kyle Spencer is a masterpiece of understated acting.

But I can't help but feel like Evan Peters got a raw deal in Coven. He deserves more.
Please tell me I'm not the only one!
"I believe in Evan Peters supremacy, even when he's playing a reanimated frat boy."
At the end of the day, it's just my opinion. But it is something to think about, isn’t it?
Perhaps, next time, we can get a season filled with Mr. Peter doing what he does best. That would be epic.
