Is Episode 28 Of Aot The Last Episode

Is Episode 28 REALLY the End of Attack on Titan? Hear Me Out...
Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking. "Another article about Attack on Titan?" But trust me on this one. I have a wild theory.
Episode 28 just dropped, and everyone's saying it's the grand finale. The epic conclusion. The end of an era. But... is it, though?
The Final Final Final... For Real This Time?
Let's be honest. We've been saying things were "final" for a while now. Remember when they announced the "final season"? Good times.
Must Read
Then it was the "final season part 2," followed by the "final season part 3," and now "the final chapters special 2." They even used the word "culmination," I think.
I'm starting to think the Rumbling wasn't Eren's only never-ending plan.
My Unpopular Opinion: It's Already Perfect
Here's the thing. I think Episode 28, taken on its own, is actually a pretty good ending.

Hear me out! Eren's motivations are…well, "explained" is a strong word. But we see his regrets, his fears, his messed-up justifications.
And the fight scene? Epic! The sacrifices? Heartbreaking! The animation? Chef's kiss. It feels like a satisfying conclusion.
The Open-Endedness: A Good Thing?
The ambiguous future, the hints of the cycle of violence continuing... It’s grim, sure. But isn't that kind of the point of Attack on Titan?

Plus, an open ending leaves room for interpretation. Did humanity truly learn its lesson? Will peace ever be possible? We get to decide for ourselves.
Isn't that a more profound ending than a perfectly tied-up, happily-ever-after scenario? Maybe that is the real message of the show.
But Wait, There's More! (Probably)
Of course, I'm probably wrong. There's always the possibility of Attack on Titan: Next Generations. Or maybe Attack on Titan: The Prequel: Ymir's Backstory. Or even Attack on Titan: Titan High. (Okay, I'm kidding... mostly.)

The point is, even if the story does continue, I'm choosing to believe that Episode 28 can stand alone.
I think it's a fitting end to Eren's story, and to the core themes that made the show so compelling.
So, Is It Really Over?
Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows anymore? Isayama probably doesn't even know.

But for me? I'm content with where things are. Mikasa seems relatively okay, Armin is monologuing (as always), and the titans are...mostly gone.
Let's just appreciate the wild ride we've been on. And maybe start preparing ourselves for Attack on Titan: The Musical in 2025.
So, what do you think? Am I crazy? Or is Episode 28 secretly the perfect (and maybe unintentional) ending? Let me know in the comments!
