But honestly, sometimes I feel like that's me. I can't be the only one.

One minute I'm all about saving the day. Rescuing kittens, helping old ladies cross the street. Total hero vibes.

I'm baking cookies for the school fundraiser. Smiling politely at that annoying coworker. It's all very bright and shiny.

I'm even volunteering at the local soup kitchen. You know, being a decent human being.

I pat myself on the back. Good job, me! You're a pillar of society!

Then I get home. My internet is slow. My takeout order is wrong. And suddenly, the Demon Lord awakens.

I unleash a torrent of sarcastic fury on the customer service representative. Poor soul.

I binge-watch reality TV while eating an entire pizza. All while judging everyone on the screen. Very villainous.

I might even leave a passive-aggressive note for my roommate. Shhh, don't tell anyone.

It's like a switch flips. I embrace the chaos. The petty grievances. The sheer, unadulterated evil.

"Mwahahaha!" - My Inner Demon Lord

Some people might call this hypocrisy. A character flaw. Maybe I'm just two-faced?

But I see it differently. I think it's balance.

Being the Hero all the time is exhausting. It's a constant performance.

Sometimes you just need to embrace your inner Demon Lord. Let out some steam.

Think about it. Who else is going to understand the Demon Lord's motivations better than... the Hero?

It gives me a unique perspective. I can see both sides of the story.

Plus, it's entertaining! Life would be so boring if I was just nice all the time.
