I Love That For You Episode 7

Okay, Hear Me Out About I Love That For You Episode 7...
Let's talk I Love That For You. Specifically, Episode 7. Was it just me, or...?
The Patricia Clarkson Effect
Look, I adore Patricia Clarkson. She could read the phone book and I'd be riveted. But sometimes, even a legend can't save a scene.
Anyone else feel like her storyline was...a bit much? It felt like a whole separate show at times.
Must Read
Joanna's Spiral
Don't get me wrong, Joanna's (Vanessa Bayer) awkwardness is gold. Usually. But her escalating lies are starting to stress me out!
I'm all for dark comedy, but I need a win soon. Give the girl a break!
Jordan's Redemption (Maybe?)
Jordan (Jenifer Lewis) continues to be a queen. Her lines are always fire.

Is she really changing, though? Or is this just a temporary truce for the sake of SVN?
The Power of Pashmina
Okay, this is where I might lose some people. But did anyone else think the pashmina storyline was...underwhelming?
I mean, it was fine. But compared to some of the show's other chaotic plots, it felt a little...tame.
Unpopular Opinion Time
Here it is. My possibly controversial take. Episode 7 wasn't my favorite.

It wasn't bad, by any means. But it felt like the plot threads were starting to fray a bit. Like a pashmina after too many washes, perhaps?
Am I the only one feeling this way? Or are we all secretly thinking the same thing?
The Lingering Question
Will Joanna finally get caught in her web of lies? It's only a matter of time, right?
And what's Patricia Clarkson's character really up to? I have a feeling there's more to her than meets the eye.

The Verdict
Look, I Love That For You is still fantastic. It's witty, relatable, and genuinely funny. Even when it makes me cringe.
But Episode 7 felt a little off-kilter. Like a slightly out-of-tune jingle. Still catchy, just...a little dissonant.
I still have faith! The show's too clever to completely lose its way. Right?
Final Thoughts (and a Plea)
So, what did you think? Am I being too harsh? Or are you with me on this one?

Please, let's discuss. And more importantly, someone give Joanna a hug. And maybe a good therapist.
And maybe fewer pashminas. Just a thought.
