Okay, this might be controversial. But I need to say it. It's been eating me up inside. Prepare yourselves.

I can't see the appeal of massive anime...you know...assets anymore. There, I said it! Judgement begins now.

Used to Be My Jam

Look, I'm not going to pretend I was always this enlightened. Back in the day, the bigger the better! Anime babes were all about breaking the laws of physics, right?

Characters like Akeno Himejima from Highschool DxD were basically my jam. Over-the-top? Absolutely. Did I care? Nope!

I was young. I was easily impressed. Sue me.

The Great Awakening (or Just Getting Old?)

But something shifted. Maybe it was turning 30. Maybe it was watching too much anime. Who knows?

Suddenly, the gigantic chests felt less...appealing. More...distracting?

Like, I'm trying to follow the plot here! Is the demon king going to destroy the world? Or are we just staring at impossibly large...features? Priorities, people!

The Suspension of Disbelief Snaps

The sheer impracticality started to bother me. How do these characters even fight? How do they move?

It’s like watching someone try to run a marathon wearing cinder blocks. My brain screams, "That's not how anatomy works!"

The suspension of disbelief just...snaps. And then I'm thinking about support bras. Not very anime-esque, is it?

Give Me Character, Not Just Cleavage

I started craving something more. Give me compelling characters. Give me witty dialogue. Give me a story that actually matters!

I'd rather watch a well-written character with a relatable design than some generic anime girl with bazookas for...well, you know.

Like, remember Violet Evergarden? Beautiful animation. Heartwrenching story. Did she need enormous tracts of land? No.

The World is Changing, Maybe I am Too?

Perhaps I'm becoming more "mature" in my anime tastes. Or maybe I'm just turning into an old grump.

But I've noticed a shift in anime itself. More diverse character designs are appearing. Stories are getting more complex.

It feels like we're moving away from just pure, unadulterated...fan service. And honestly? I'm here for it.

So, Am I Alone?

I know, I know. I’m probably going to get roasted for this opinion. The anime community is a passionate bunch.

But I gotta ask: Am I the only one feeling this way? Has anyone else outgrown the over-the-top boobage?

My Plea to Anime Creators

Please, give me characters with depth. Give me narratives that resonate. Give me animation that inspires.

And maybe, just maybe, tone down the chest size a little bit. Pretty please? For the love of anime!

Let's create stories that stick with us long after the credits roll. That's all I'm asking.
