How To Turn Off Live Captions On Macbook

Ever been serenaded by your own computer? Not with music, mind you, but with a constant stream of text mimicking everything being said on your screen? It's like having a hyperactive parrot trained in transcription!

Into the System's Labyrinth

From the dropdown menu, select "System Settings...". Think of it as entering the control room of your digital empire.

Now, on the left side of System Settings, you’ll see lots of options. Scroll down until you spot "Accessibility". It might sound intimidating, but don't worry, we're just tweaking a small setting.

Click on "Accessibility". A whole new world of options opens up!

On the right side of the panel, scroll down (again!) and find "Live Captions". We're getting close!

See that little switch next to "Live Captions"? It's probably glowing a vibrant blue or green, indicating that those captions are indeed alive and kicking (and transcribing!).

Click that switch. Watch it go from colorful to a peaceful gray. Poof! The captions are gone!
