How To Restart A Show On Hbo Max

Okay, let's talk HBO Max. We've all been there, right? Lost in the endless scroll, suddenly craving something familiar.

Create a new profile! Yes, I said it. Become a whole new person, at least as far as HBO Max is concerned.

Name yourself something cool. Like, "Daenerys Targaryen Fan Account." Or "Official Succession Stan." Whatever floats your boat.

Now, I wouldn't normally suggest this. But desperate times, desperate measures. Use the kids' profile!

Okay, maybe not for everything. Keep it PG-13, people. But for some shows, it's a surprisingly effective way to start fresh.

Just don't let the actual kids catch you watching The Sopranos on their account. Awkward family dinner incoming.

And now for my unpopular opinion. Are you ready?

Sometimes, restarting a show isn't the answer. Maybe it's time to admit defeat.

Maybe that show just wasn't as good as you remembered. GASP! I know, I know. Blasphemy! But hear me out.

There are so many other shows out there. Why keep banging your head against the wall of a show you're not enjoying?

Embrace the new! Explore the unknown! Dive headfirst into that weird documentary about competitive cheese sculpting!

HBO Max is a vast and wondrous land. Don't get stuck in reruns (unless you really want to).

And finally, the nuclear option. Cancel your HBO Max subscription.

Okay, okay, I'm kidding... mostly. But think about it. A few months away, and you'll have completely forgotten everything!

Then, resubscribe. Voila! A completely fresh, unspoiled viewing experience. You're welcome.

Seriously though, HBO Max, a "restart show" button would be amazing. Just saying.
