Okay, let’s be honest. Finding your subscriptions on your iPhone? It’s like a digital scavenger hunt.

A hunt designed, perhaps, by someone who enjoys mild chaos.

I mean, I’m pretty tech-savvy. I think. But this gets me every. single. time.

The Great Subscription Safari

First, we venture into the mystical realm of Settings. Yes, Settings. Home to all the iPhone’s deepest secrets, apparently.

You scroll. And scroll. Past Wallpaper. Past Notifications, which you probably ignore anyway. Past Siri & Search – does anyone actually use Siri?

Okay, maybe some people do. But probably not to find their subscriptions. That would be too easy.

The Apple ID Enigma

Then, you spot it! Your name. Right at the top. Click it!

This is where Apple thinks the treasure lies, I guess. It’s not a straightforward “Subscriptions” button, oh no. We need more layers.

You’ll see options like iCloud, Media & Purchases (what even is that, really?), and Security. Getting warmer… maybe?

Here comes the controversial part…you have to select Media & Purchases. Then, View Account. Yeah, who would have thought?

My unpopular opinion: this menu needs a serious re-think.

The Subscription Hideout

Prepare for another loading screen. Patience, young Padawan. Your subscriptions await.

Finally! You're on the Account page. Now scroll, scroll, scroll some more.

There it is! Hidden amongst billing addresses and country/region settings: Subscriptions.

It's like Apple doesn't want you to manage your subscriptions.

An Alternative Route (Maybe)

Some say there's a shortcut. A secret passage, if you will.

Open the App Store. Then, tap your profile picture in the top right corner.

Supposedly, Subscriptions lives there too. But sometimes, in my experience, it's as elusive as a decent Wi-Fi signal at a concert.

"Life's too short to spend ages finding Subscriptions. Am I right?"

The Subscription Realization

Now you're finally staring at the list. All those forgotten free trials that turned into recurring payments. The streaming services you barely use.

Dear Apple, please, for the love of all that is digital, give us a dedicated "Subscriptions" button. Put it somewhere obvious. Like, on the home screen.
