Liar's Handshake: The Basics
Liar's Handshake is an Exotic Hunter gauntlet. Its Exotic perk, Cross Counter, is what makes it so potent. There are three primary ways to acquire Liar's Handshake:
- Legend/Master Lost Sectors (Solo): These are your best bet, especially when the daily Lost Sector is rewarding gauntlets. The drop rate for Exotics is significantly higher in these activities, but be warned: they can be challenging. You need to be solo, and you need to be prepared to die. A lot. Trust me.

- Level Up: Make sure you’re at or above the recommended power level for the Lost Sector. Seriously. Trying to solo it underleveled is just asking for a bad time.
- Mod Up: Equip armor mods that will help you survive. Resilience is your friend. So are mods that reduce incoming damage from specific enemy types.
- Weapon Choices: Bring weapons that are effective against the champions in the Lost Sector. Overload, Unstoppable, and Barrier champions require specific weapon mods to deal with effectively. Don't be that guy who tries to punch an Unstoppable champion into oblivion.
