How To Get Dual Uchigatana Elden Ring

Alright, so you wanna be a real samurai in Elden Ring, huh? Trading blows with two Uchigatanas? I dig it. Who needs shields when you can just slice and dice your way through the Lands Between? Here's the lowdown on snagging yourself a matched pair of these bad boys. It’s easier than you think… mostly.
First things first: getting your first Uchigatana. This is the gateway drug to dual-wielding glory, my friend.
Head to the Deathtouched Catacombs in Limgrave. Yeah, the starting area. Don’t worry, it's not too scary… unless you're like, really bad at dodging skeletons. We've all been there. Just follow the path, smack some bony dudes around, and you'll eventually stumble upon a room with a grave warden and a shiny item on a corpse. Bingo! The Uchigatana is yours.
Must Read
Now, the juicy part: getting your second Uchigatana. This is where things get a little more… involved. You see, the game only gives you one per playthrough (normally). Bummer, right? But don’t despair! We have options!
Option 1: New Game Plus (NG+)
Okay, so this is the official way. Beat the game (congrats, Tarnished!), start NG+, and then just run back to the Deathtouched Catacombs and grab another one. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Except, you know, you have to beat the entire game again. Is it worth it? Only you can decide, young Padawan.

Option 2: Ask a Friend (Multiplayer)
Got a buddy who's also rocking Elden Ring and doesn't want to dual-wield katanas? Hit them up! Have them drop their Uchigatana for you in multiplayer. Boom! Instant dual-wielding awesomeness! Just remember, sharing is caring… and maybe offer them some Runes in return for their generosity. You know, good karma and all that.
Option 3: Trade (Elden Ring Communities)

If you don't have friends (no judgement!), or your friends are selfish katana hoarders, you can try trading online. There are tons of Elden Ring communities on Reddit, Discord, and other platforms where players trade items. Be careful though! Make sure you're trading with a reputable player to avoid getting scammed. Nobody wants to get ripped off when they're just trying to become a samurai legend!
Option 4: Start as a Samurai (This is Important!)
If you are starting a brand new game, this is by far the easiest way. Choose the Samurai class. Why? Because they start with the Uchigatana! All you have to do is head to Deathtouched Catacombs as described previously and pick up another one. Now you can wreck havoc as a dual wielding samurai from the very start of the game! (This is by far the easiest way to get two early game.)

Dual-Wielding: The Basics
So you've got your two Uchigatanas. Now what? Equip one in each hand, and then hold down the Triangle/Y button (depending on your controller) and press either R1/RB or L1/LB to power stance! This will give you a unique moveset that's perfect for slicing and dicing enemies into tiny, little, rune-filled pieces. Remember to experiment with different Ashes of War to find the perfect build for your playstyle! Who knows, maybe you will find your build that is the envy of all the Lands Between.

Important Considerations!
Don't forget to level up your Strength and Dexterity. You'll need those stats to properly wield your katanas. Endurance is also important so that you can, you know, swing them more than twice without running out of stamina. And don’t forget to upgrade those bad boys at the blacksmith! A +25 Uchigatana is a force to be reckoned with. Just ask any Tree Sentinel who's crossed my path. Oh wait… you can’t, because they’re all… well…
So there you have it! Your guide to becoming a dual-wielding Uchigatana master in Elden Ring. Now go forth, Tarnished, and show those bosses what true samurai power looks like! And try not to die too much, okay?
